Hello. I'm new here. I've received my first order friday. Everything worked great the first day and after charging all of my 4 batteries (2 shorties that came with my Kit and 2 XL manual)... they are all dead.

I charged each one until the light changed to green on the charger but the batteries LED didn't flash when I plugged them to the charger. And of course they are not charged because I screwed cartomizers to these batteries and nothing is happening when inhaling (LED is working but no vapor, no sound, nothing happening).

The second XL battery and the second shorty are both acting weird. When I screw cartomizers to these batteries, i hear the sound as if I was inhaling even when doing nothing and the cartomizers get hot. When i try inhaling the LED are not working (but there is a little bit of vapor but I can see it's not working right).

The only thing that is left working in my kit is the USB passthrough

I've sent a support request to V4L. Do you guys know how long before i can expect an answer ? I know it's the weekend so....
I just don't know if I should order other batteries or wait for an answer but i'm left with lots of cartomizers (and I even placed a second order for $100 worth of cartomizers on friday) and not a single working battery :( So I can't vape anymore. It's frustrating. I'm also afraid now of spending more money on this with 4 batteries who are defective after only 48 hours.

if you used them untill the led blinked 20 times than to get them to charge plug it in wait 5 min un plug and re plug the led should flash and should charge.
thump the button on the other 2 and see if you have a sticky button i have had acouple like that works fine just every once in a while they stick they will shut off in 1`0 seconds but just unscrew the cart till led goes off

Seems like there are at least three that are completely dead (one XL and two shorty). I just tried plugging those (the XLand the two shorty) in my USB charger and the green light on the USB charger stays green, the battery's LED don't flash. How come all my batteries are dead after only 2 days ? I don't know what to do now. I have have ordered lots of cartomizers and won't be able to use them. I'm so disappointed.

try them in the wall charger and do as i sugested plug the battery in wait 5 min than unscrew it than screw it back in and see if it blinks

I tried and only one blinks but unfortunately this also the one that had a problem when I screw the cartomizer on it (similar problem than this guy described: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vapor4life/119935-battery-problems-fixed-again.html).

I suspect the other batterie are really dead. I also suspect my PCC might have killed the other three batteries because something happened with one battery when I charged with the PCC. The battery got very hot and I saw some smoke as if something was burning. So I unplugged it immediately of course.

Carefully, take a small screwdriver, pin, or other small object and gently pry the center of the carto upwards (the connector). If still not working, do the same to to battery.
Sounds like the battery and the carto are not connecting correctly. This has happened many times before.

sounds like you will have to give them a call if your pcc killed them they will replace it if its still under warntee i had 1 that stayed on and if i slaped it down on the table it would cut off they replaced it with my next orded but you can call them and they might replace the kit,,,

I'm not 100% sure it's the PCC who killed the 3 batteries, just a guess. I think i've a plugged the three batteries to the PCC but not the fourth, the one that is still "working". I probably shouldn't have plugged two more batteries to the PCC after the smoke incident (although I haven't seen any smoke after that).

I submitted a ticket on their support site yesterday morning and also wrote an email to Steve. Didn't get an answer so far. I'm trying to avoid the phone because I'm not so good in english.
Anyway, i really hope I will be able to solve these problems because i've already spent $180 on my first order and placed another $120 order the same day I received my kit (cartomizers) so I can't really give up with V4L, otherwise I would have switched to another model, brand. I've also converted a friend of mine and he ordered a kit from V4L so i just hope i have been unlucky and these products are indeed reliable... I just thought I would be ok with 4 batteries but i'm left with nothing except the USB PT.

I'm not sure I understand how to proceed exactly.
I understand This might have happened many times before... but what are the odds three brand new batteries would act like that on their second use ?

if you look at the battery end the center post has a hole in it you can get a hold of that center pc and gently pull up to raise the post un till its almost at the top of the threads.
or you can get a staple fold it in half bend the tips out flat and trim them so that they dont hang over that center post kinda like a y. insert the folded end in to the hole in the center of the battery and the flat parts are laying on top of the the center post only not by the threads screw the carto on and see if this works...........i would try the first method first though

Thanks for your help.... I just didn't know the V4L e-cigs were so complicated to use. Doesn't change the fact that i still have 3 brand new batteries now dead after 48 hours. I just feel like I shouldn't have spent almost $300 before testing. I'm now wondering if I should buy the Joye eGo or something else. I just don't know what I'm gonna do with all those cartomizers I will receive next week :-(

Definitely sound like a case of overdraining on 3 of the batts.
