I have never had one of Ray's tanks leak or come apart. I am fairly hard on them and often surprised at how sturdy they are.

Not exactly a real world test... but better than nothing.

I disagree. It's misinformation, or what some call FUD, and completely unnecessary. But hey, we can't all agree on everything can we?

But if you were wise, mind you, you'd always agree with Vince.

I'm not exactly disagreeing. I mean, really... who runs around pulling on their tank all day. I think all Phil is doing is comparing the tightness of tanks to each other.

What we can agree on, is that Ray's tanks are tough as, well... tanks. My cartos won't be caught dead without a Valley View tank on them.

I thik it's a handy comparison. As others have said you don't want it to bee so loose it just falls apart as Phil hinted about smoktech tanks.
It's a hard area in the design of the cap, too tight of a tolerance and people have all sorts of trouble getting a slightly deformed cartomizer thru the cap.
I left mine loose enough that it's pretty easy to get a punched carto thru it unless someone has really deformed the carto, but tight enough that if you grab most mods by the tank it won't come off in your hand.
Most tanks really aren't designed for being pocket friendly, I think that's where the grommets are the big advantage.
I didn't look to see if the grommet Pyrex was still on Phil's chart, but I think it was at the top on his initial review. LOL

If a tank can't handle a pocket I can't use it. Yours are 99% pocket proof sir!

I don'y usually use the same grommets with different flavors. I only have a few flavors that I vape regularly and those have dedicated tanks.

What are you using to clean your grommets? I usually soak in dish soap and water for 24 hours. Even then, certain juices "stick" on them. It's not the taste, as much as the smell. For that reason, I've been preferring caps lately.
