Morning all, I have a couple of 510-510 and 510-ego adapters just because, and lots of other 510 to whatever adapters. I guess ray has been busy, looking forward to getting my new toy hopefully next week :). My VV that i have right now works, but it is already getting beat the heck up, the connector is loose and I do not want to do a tear down and rebuild until I have a backup. I have my two SB's but those are either 3.7v or 6v if I stack, hate stacking, and 3.7 just does not cut it for me, 6v also tastes so burnt anymore.
Amazing how quickly you get spoiled, but it has been keeping me off of cigs so meh I can not complain.

Remember a 510-510 adapter makes a good thread saver. Who cares if it makes ur mods look like a sonic screwdriver!!!!!!!!!!!!

For you Mac users, I see JoyeTech has now released their MVR software in a Beta Mac version (1.2)

Also, firmware version 1.2 is incorporated in the latest version of the MVR software.

Well that settles that! Ray, put aside an evic for me! I'll be ordering one just as soon as I get my tax refund. In 7 to 21 days. ;)

Hi - I have a couple of questions about the Premium Triple V Polypro Tanks. Does anyone have a picture of the tanks on an eGo? Can you use an "I'm Your Sister" ;) type of tool to change cartos? Does it take regular cartos or the flanged kind? I have a friend looking for a side-fill tank, but it can't be very heavy and it needs to be easy to change cartos (she is going to have hand surgery).

That's a 6ml so the other is gonna be 10mm shorter give or take a mm.
It takes regular cartos or 45mm depending on which one you buy. Flanged won't work with the caps.
To put new cartos in yes the tool will help..
It's very very light on the ego because the caps aren't a heavy metal. Maybe hard plastic?
It's easy to change cartos. Pop a cap, push carto out, pop other cap, clean and put back together.

Are those silver caps (I'm looking at the picture on the VVV website)? And it appears the 3ml and the 6ml have the same diameter, true? The specs say the caps are aluminum, but you think they feel like hard plastic?

HOnestly I haven't handled the caps much at all so I shouldn't speak. I received it and filled it the moment it got delivered. The whole tank itself is very light though I'll say that! If Ray says they are aluminum then they are aluminum! And aluminum is pretty light so yeah :)
And yeah the 6ml is just taller but same width which is why I bought them. I wanted something slim with caps.

I won a tank awhile back and it worked just great the first day and then the next day it flooded. Now I tried all the tips for fixing it they didn't work. I got the 3ml with a LR carto punched. It had 2 holes. Now I noticed if it was out of the tank I could get it to vape or if it was in the tank and the tank was empty it would vape also. My solution was to plug one of the holes and bingo it is working fine and not flooding. So if you have a flooding issue try that it might just do the trick. Thanks again Ray for the awesome tank and the contest.

Glad you're still loving the tank. :)
Unfortunately the ideal hole size and number of holes can vary quite a bit from juice to juice and even depend on the way a person vapes.
That's why I always encourage people to learn to punch their own cartomizers. Two of my favorite e-liquids work better with different hole configurations. Why? Don't really know but it makes a difference in carto life and taste.

It's really a matter of experimentation. Try larger holes, adding a third hole, or adding a third hole higher up on the carto. Dark juices tend to be problematic though. It's just their nature, they clog the polyfill faster than a lighter juice.

Added: For me, I'm a chain vaper. So the challenge for me is usually in keeping the polyfill moist. If you get frequent hits that seem slightly dry, then I'd try a bigger hole or more holes etc. I've only ever had 1 carto actually leak from over punching, I have made a few flood though.

The number and size of holes in a carto really makes sense! I have a lemonade that leaks from EVERYTHING and I punched 1 hole with Ray's punch in a new carto and now it's not leaking but holding steady after 24 hrs. Alternatively, I have a Tiramisu, chocolate mint, caramel that I can vape for a few deep draws and then nothing, locked up tight... I'm going to try it with a 3 holed carto =]

I think it may also have something to do with the VG/PG ratio as well... I try to do 50/50, but my VG is SO THICK and I don't dilute it with anything buy PG

Did you fill out the 'notify me when this is back in stock' thingy on the website? It does work =]

Yes, I have and I know it works, so I wasn't worried about that. I was mainly asking "around when" so I could try to plan things cash-wise, so just curious if Ray had an idea when stock might be expected. I'm curious about the cheaper glass models Ray in case that matters.

Thanks!
