There's really only 2 ways to fill those Pyrex tanks.
1 is to slide a syringe between the carto and the grommet.
The other is to lift up the edge of the grommet and slip the needle between the grommet and the glass.
Some people find this relatively easy with a little practice, others get frustrated by it. That's the main reason I started carrying the aluminum caps for them.
Hopefully you're in the first group. :)

Hey Ray, just got the tanks in today!

They look awesome! Do you have a trick to using the grommets?

I find them fairly easy to fill using the syringe method that RayN has outlined above. You just have to make sure that your syringe needle is long enough - say at least 1-2 inches.

Hey, RayN - have you had any issues or complaints about cinnamon juices melting or dissolving the plastic grommets?
I haven't used my tanks with cinnamon juice yet, but it's my favorite and I want to try it. But before I do, I want to make sure I'm not going to kill the grommets.

I guess the aluminum caps wouldn't be hurt by the cinnamon juice, but don't they have some plastic on them too?
And how are the aluminum caps easier to fill?

(This is another reason I want a Pyrex Sidewinder!)

The grommets and o-rings I use are made from food grade materials (silicone for grommets, silicone or EPDM for o-rings.) and I haven't heard of any juices reacting with them, or the polypropylene tanks either. That's the reason I chose to work with those materials.
The aluminum won't react either.
My wife vapes exclusively on Banana and there's never been an issue with the tank or grommets.

It's not that the cinnamon is a harsh chemical or anything, it's just not suitable for use with acrylic or polycarbonate. That's why it breaks down polycarb tanks and can ruin most drip tips.

Hey lettucehead, I use Ray's Triple V Polypro tanks and also the pyrex tanks ALL the time and have seen no evidence of any problem
