I have had the occasional instant burnt poly taste. That one you can chalk up to a dud carto. Not really sure what to say on the other part. I always use the SR cartos personally and I've never had the Provari error out on me. I suppose it's possible the dud cartos react to the moisture and lower the reisistance, but I'm just spitballing.

Is your kicked sb with a extension. ? How much do u sacrifice battery life.

I do use the extension, but the pic I posted earlier in this thread was without (Kick + 18490). Generally speaking, I the Kick lops off 20 percent of the battery life; it start stuttering when the battery is low, even though there's enough juice to operate. Evolv wanted to err on the safe side I suppose.

I just went 4 days on one 18650 3100mah. Repeat that one to yourself. Ofc only two of those days were full-time vaping, the other two only evening hours. Probably a bit more than 48 hours total vape time.

I'd have never tried vaping if not for my daughters insistence that I try that eeeeeeeeelectronic cigarette lmao. She's tickled that I got off the smokes too. Hehe we were at Walmart and they had some LorAnn's (I think? Brand could be wrong) flavoring, I don't DIY but I sure did stop to look and wonder if that was the right stuff. I'm looking at the little bottles and my daughter goes "Mommy, is that e liquid?" Lol!

I've been using my carto tanks less and less as I'm moving more and more toward rebuildables and the vivi novas. But I'm going to get that pyrex sidewinder because it looks so nice. All the issues all of you mentioned above have been happening to me more and more frequently with the cartos. That is the manufacturer's fault, and I'm glad that Ray offers testing before sending them to you. I don't think there's many vendors out there that offer that. I think that all my future carto buys will be from VVV. I'm kind of tired of getting 15 cartos, and about 5 of them being doa, and no money back.

Now to go and get myself a shiny new 7ml pyrex sidewinder .
