I'm a licensed falconer - which means that I hunt with birds of prey. I got into it when I was 11, couldn't get my license until I was 14, but have been doing it ever since. It's an amazing sport!

Good for you, Uncle!

Personally, I have found that it takes more internal strength and spirit to go BACK to school and succeed than it ever does just to go straight through.

I think people who show their strength by reaching out of their everyday life and striving for something more are inspirations for the rest of us...

:)

Something about "Me" that I wouldn't mind People knowing . . .

Finally, went to College at the age of 40 in 1994 (22 years after graduating HS) . . . :)

AND - Completed both an Undergrate '97 & Master's '98 Degree . . . :D

Yeah.
It kinds of stinks.

But I am doing this surgery so I can know that I've done what I can.
If (Heaven forbid) I do get breast cancer (the surgery only reduces risk by 90%), I'll know that I did everything I could so as to avoid it.

Haha!
Plus, I get the 'girls' back the way they were before 3 kids! And paid for by insurance!

(I'm really trying to look on the bright side of this....)
