#1 I have a German Shepard/Pit bull/Lab mix, I think lol. I walked into a "rescue center" more like a wanna be pet shop and saw the conditions of how they were keeping the dogs and I fell in love with this little solid black puppy with a white heart on his chest. I told the owner he was going home with me, no matter how much he cost. He was skin and bones, severely dehydrated, fleas, kennel cough, you name it he had it. Paid $300 and immediately took him to vet, Doc said "I wouldn't get your hopes up, he wont make it through the weekend." With a lot of food, patience and love I still have him to this day-over yr and half. He is a sweet and loyal dog who is definitely my buddy. The next day I was on the phone for about 5 hrs, I called anybody that would listen, ASPCA, Humane Society, other rescue organizations, Mayors office and eventually got the place shut down, the owner was arrested for animal abuse, maltreatment and fraud. Seeing those animals in those conditions really ...... me off and I am glad they were given the proper care after I made a few calls

#2 I am addicted to vaping, this may be a common thing here but I carry a plastic tackle box in my book bag to work everyday. Multiple batts/juices/tips/attys/ qtips/ tanks/ tank attys/ and thats not even 1/4 of what I own lol. Plus my dining room table looks like a .... lab lol syringes, flavors, PG, VG. distilled water, the whole 9 yards

#3 I am that guy that will do anything for a laugh usually leading me to end up hurt or in the hospital but if it makes somebody giggle I am down for it. People take life way too serious sometimes. And that leads to heart attacks lol

Since I was a huge Marvel geek when I was younger I was able to name my son after a popular marvel character without my wife knowing. She would've fought against it but actually like the name.

Until she finally seen the film X-men and they referred to one character as Logan. My son got all excited and my wife shot me a look. I nodded and she laughed.

I've had this username "DarthVong" for around 10+ years on multiple forums. It's Star Wars based (obviously) from the New Jedi Order series of novels.

When DVDs first came out I joined a forum that would talk about DVDs and how upset we were that most companies didn't use the original poster art for the films and would actually have horrible looking covers. A handful of us started a website called DVDCoverart.com and would use are graphic skills to create alternate covers using the original artwork. At first these were very cut and paste type covers then some of us started making the entire cover from scratch coming up with unique designs that we all shared.
After the hobby of making covers got real popular more and more sites popped up and then the actual companies started sending C&D letters saying we we're violating copyright laws. We never charged for the covers and some of us would only make them for films that were actually on DVD. Unfortunately, we got lumped in with the people that would bootleg the films and that's what caused the problems. Anyway, I had a little claim to internet fame back then for being one of the founders of custom dvd artwork. LOL

I've been vaping over a year and although I have some mods, I still use some 808/510 cig-style batteries too. Not sure if I'm ever gonna give them up completely, will probably always keep a few around.

I got a sunburn this weekend going out on a pontoon boat. It was a lot of fun and we even jumped in the lake for a bit to cool off. I haven't had a sunburn in years because I am careful about applying sunscreen but silly me, I thought we were not going into the lake (I didn't bring a swimsuit so I had to go in in my shirt and jeans), and I thought I would just stay in the shade of the overhang of the boat lol. Ah well...

I lost ~50 pounds last year following a low carb/diabetic diet after having brittle gestational diabetes with my son.

It's actually a really healthy diet.

I love to swim! Pool, lake, waterpark, whatever, I really enjoy swimming, especially in the summer
