I really would like a Semovar.

Yes, indeed. Accurate variable power sounds like a winner to me. And the possible configurations on that device is amazing. I don't have a mechanical mod, but the Semovar is both a regulated mod, a mechanical mod, and can be a kicked mod, all in one. Of course, this was the same argument I presented to the wife to get the green light and keep the happy home :D. Anyway, I did see where you mentioned it a few days ago, and did my homework, and I fell in love. I do so love my sigelei's, but the Semovar is two or three magnitudes higher imho. Vape on!

Sorry, OP, but had to get this in. BTW, just get the sigelei V3! Best!

I have never heard of the Bobo until now lol I will check it out. I got my Vamo2 from Vapor Alley Rick was kind enough to offer me a store credit :) I know he has the segelei zmax and and the Innokin SVD that is why I was considering one of those. Might as well use my store credit :p

Both of those are good. I am getting an Innokin SVD myself - its shipping as we speak. :) Its a bit longer than a Vamo with an 18650 battery. It has the advantage of telescoping - so you can use different battery sizes - 18350, 18490, 18650... . Also quite sturdily built.

I have a Segelei Zmax (not the telescoping just the 18650 size). Had it almost three weeks now and it works great I've had no problems with it. Never had a Vamo so cant compare but im satisfied with my Zmax purchase

The Zmaxs are a nice size I think. A bit smaller than the bigger Vamos or SVDs.

it is between the seg zmax n innokin svd I read that the 510 connection on the zmax is aluminum that is not good?!?! I think the Vamo is brass ? All I know is I have to pick one pr the other because of the credit.

I don't know what the Sigelei Zmax threading is - I've read that the older ones were aluminium but the newer ones are stainless steel. If you go to this page on my blog you will find the Zmax and SVD reviewed there:
http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/fo...ariable-wattage-variable-voltage-mod-get.html

They are both good mods.

Look, if your choice is the Sigelei V3 or the Innokin SVD, you've already won. Both are excellent. The Sigelei is a smaller footprint and that's the major difference. The build quality is very good on both. I was a wee bit worried about the SVD until I had a dealer put the 18650 in it, and it was a tank. Slight rattle prior to the battery insertion. For a vapin girl in las vegas, where I live, just go to the Vegas Vapor Emporium at 1591 N Buffalo Dr., Ste 160, Las Vegas, NV 89128 and they have both APV's there. They are not cheap though. Generally, I noticed they are about 1.5 - 2.5 times higher than you can find on the net. Big difference. But there's nothing like holding each in your hand and deciding. Vape On!

And yes, I realize you have a credit already at an online store. But check them out in person. Believe me, you'll know. Think they're open till 8pm.

No thank you. I appreciate u trying to help but, I have been there several times and that is where I got all the 'KNOCK OFF VIVE NOVAS" for $18.95 x 2 aluminum and 1 plastic for $12!!!! I had only been vaping a few weeks. I kept reading about people loving their vive novas and I could not figure out why, mine sucked. Anyway, I figured it out when I ordered a replacement coil thingamajigger from Mad Vapes... That was the last local place I visited before I started DESPERATELY searching on line for JUICE and HARDWARE. Not a fun experience for me especially when they said add an etra shot of flavor to your juice and then when it tasted bad and they agreed had me purchase 2 more bottles of regular strength to tone it down  I might go there in an emergency ... if I had to lol. sorry venting!!!

you are sweet for trying to help and i really appreciate it :) I came back on here because the Vamo that I am returning has now decided to switch from NO1 TO NO2 on its own. I double check it all the time and I did about 15 minutes ago. Luckily, because it was in NO1 mode. I changed it to NO2 mode and took a vape. I took a phone call and took another vape and it was super hot so, I checked it it switched back to NO1!!! It switches on its own. I was considering just keeping it since I didn't want to go to the post office :mail:. I am definitely sending it back. I just need to decide on zmax or svd all I want is a dependable device that is fairly uncomplicated to use! I dont care if it is big, small, ugly, heavy ( yes, I have been reading reviews again) I just want a sturdy well built SAFE device.

I got the bottom of an evod stuck in my vamo v2...I obviously over tightened it. But I found the evods to be finicky and even when it was screwed well in it wouldn't fire sometimes which made me have to tighten it more. I went to take off the evod last night and bam juice all over my hand and mod. I cleaned all of it up and tried to get the bottom part out but its on too tight. I used a towel, etc. but theres not much to grip on. I have to go to the hardware store later to get some pliers and hope for the best...I hope I dont break it. My stormtrooper jwrap hasnt arrived yet and itd be a waste :(

I tried to get a 510 to 510 adapter out of my twist with pliers and I killed it the adapter broke off in the twist connection.

Gotcha. My reason for suggesting going there, or anywhere for that matter, is just so you could check out the two mods in question. I wouldn't buy any gear there. I did buy some grape ejuice and I'm a DIY guy, but I think it's important to support our local vape community and businesses. Anyway, good luck and Vape On!

Just get a Maytag.

(The local vape store here is also for desperate emergencies only)
