So in my arsenal I have a VAMO 5 which has worked great. But I have noticed on occasion my hand will get hot it touching the bottom cap and the button at the same time. Just the cap heats up. No big deal I just remember to be mindful of hand placement in 18350 mode. Anyone else experience this?

How long would you say until it heats up?
I would think that I would have experienced this by now... I take long drags and have it set to 15 watts and occasionally stack the batteries.

Do you have your Vamo set on OUTPUT RMS or MEAN?
If I'm not mistaken, you can find out by pressing and holding the left button for over 10 seconds. If it shows Output RMS, it means you were on MEAN. Leave it alone now that you're on RMS mode and from what I've read, Vamo owners solve this "heating" problem after that.
If your Vamo says "Output MEAN", it means you were on RMS. Do it again until your Vamo goes back to Output RMS. This would also mean that if it was heating up like that when you were already on Output RMS, I won't know any other solutions to help fix your heating up issue.

If the battery cap is getting hot to the point of being noticeable it may be time for some cleaning
Clean the Battery Cap and Vamo Body Tube threads, and the battery spring and inside of the battery cap.
Clean the battery contacts
Check the resistance of your topper (tank)

The V2 initially came out with an issue where the end cap overheated. This was due to the spring being made of inferior metals. Check your spring, it should be goldish colored and stretched out.
