Anyoune noticed this in their Vamo's? I'm using stacked 18350 config. When fully charged vamo reads 8.3v and drops really quickly (like 5 vape sessions) to about 7.7v, but then takes about a day and a half or 30 sessions to read 6.8v and starts to roller coaster again and craps out at 6.3v in just a few more vape sessions.

I use a single 18350 too. It seems to me that it drops quite seadily fro 4.2 down to about 3.6. Then accelerates a bit. But it could be my imagination. Not had it very long.
While I haven't had issues with the battery level quickly dropping, I have noticed that my Vamo seems to read voltage about .2v higher than it should. A 4.1v charged battery will read 4.3, etc.
I compared this to my Zmax with the same battery, and the Zmax read about .2v lower than the Vamo. After checking the battery out on a multimeter, I can say it's the Vamo that's reading voltage a little off.
It only seems to do this at higher charge levels, as once it gets down to the 3.2v cutoff voltage, it read it spot on. But with a fully charged battery it seems to usually read .1-.2v high.
Might be somehow related to the issue your having.

I came to this thread to see if anyone has this situation:
I noticed recently that I'll run a clearo on an ego putting out 3.7v and get decent vapor and flavor; I switch the clearo to the Vamo w/single 18350 and try it at 3.7v and it's so burnt I nearly gag. I'll turn it down to 3.3v-3.4v and it's like running it on the ego @ 3.7v...? So, I take some readings from the batts: Both a 350mah and 650mah put out 3.7v; I tested the Vamo, fully charged reading 4.2v, set at 3.5v and 4.8 and it reads 1.67v and 3.3v respectively... huh? But 3.5v is slightly hot and 4.8v would fry the juice?
Is any of this normal functioning for a Vamo?
Be sure your device is in RMS mode by holding down one of the smaller buttons for a very long time. It should read NO2, meaning its in RMS mode. If it reads NO1, let go of the button and repeat until it says NO2. Haven't used mine in VV mode tbh, I always go with VW. 7.5-8.5 I find is a nice vape, and I don't need to worry about what ohm is attached.
You definitely need to change your Vamo to RMS (N02) mode and not the N01 mode and the problem you describe will disappear. In other words, switch to VW and don't use VV.
The quick drop from 4.2 to 3.7 is completely normal; in fact, it is desirable. 3.7V is the voltage where the battery is supposed to stay at. High drain batteries are even made so that they stay longer at 3.7V. This eliminates the big variance in voltage when you are using unregulated devices.
And that my friends is why the vamo sits in the drawer and doesn's get used. First one crapped out the circut board after 3 month. Second one is still working..(I think). It boils down to "you get what you pay for". Sorry but I've owned em and just not impressed by the quality of the product. IMHO.

I'll take that for the $26 I payed for my Vamo. As many times as I have dropped it on hard floors... I'm sure something like a $100 E-Vic would be completely destroyed by now.
Edit: I actually paid $32 for my Vamo. I forgot the SS version I have cost a little more than the $26 Chrome ones (SS model is probably much better for accidently dropping on cement floors too
..)

Sounds like you got a bad batch or a bad supplier. Too many positive reviews on the Vamo overall.
I'd take 1 VAMO + 1 nice mech + 2 quality RBAs over 1 Provari in a heartbeat. Same price, by the way. Provari may even cost a little more.
