Just a random post..

I`ve just dropped my Vamo V2 SS off a wall (4ft) onto the floor! It`s cracked the AGA-t2 glass tank that was on it and dented the bottom part of the tube.

The 510 threads on it are fine :)
The Vamo is fine :)
Put a new tank on it and ran through everything, changing watts to volts, testing resistance, vaping and it all works good :) just looks a little battle scarred!

Now breathing a sigh of relief and vaping :D

Disclaimer: Don`t try this at home folks! ;)

I was considering purchasing a Vamo. I was talking to some folks at a B&M and they insisted that the Vamo's board slowly comes loose and the buttons fall into the tube etc etc. They were suggesting the zmax or SID over the Vamo.

I don't feel like they were pushing those 2 products in order to sell them. However, I've read a lot of good things about the Vamo on here and I tried to explain that to them..lol..I guess it went over their heads. Another thing they mentioned is you can't "lock" the voltage in and if it gets bumped or what have you, it changes the voltage/wattage etc.

The V2 locks the wattage and voltage in if you just switch it off, which I recommend if you stick it in your pocket etc.
It locks the wattage in if you change batteries but not the voltage, that reverts to 3.0v as default.

In the off mode it dosn`t matter what buttons get pushed, when you switch it on it will default back to where you left it :)
When you switch batteries it will keep memory of the last wattage setting but default back to 3.0v.

I`ve never found this an issue because I always check battery voltage when switching to make sure I`ve not put a semi-discharged battery in.
The menu is simple with the buttons + and -
And as I`ve just found out...it`s tough enough :D
