so what exactly is wrong with the batts and charger from vapor break i was looking at ordering the kit just so i could get it and go

I ordered the kit with the batteries and the charger. While waiting on the shipment from China I ordered 2 of the IMR 18650's and a NiteCore charger. So, I have not used the charger that came with the kit.

The included charger looks pretty cheap but probably works just fine. It is the type that has the US style plug that folds out to plut into an outlet. Kinda like what comes to recharge camera batteries. No cord, just plugs directly into the wall. The negative connection is spring loaded to accept the 18350's or 18650's.

The batteries that came with the Vamo do not actually say what they are. They say "Special Lithium Battery" They are 900mAh. On the battery it says "Made by D. K. L Battery Company Shenchen China. They look just like the battery sold here except they do not say "NettMix on them. These here look exactly the same.

I got the kit because the 2 batteries were so cheap and I could at least try them. I have and they work just fine both individually or stacked. If I continue to use them stacked I will keep a close watch on their voltage and stop stacking them if they get unbalanced from each other.

Well, personally I would not stack those batteries. I've heard stories of some of these cheap chineese batteries are recycled and they just rewrap them to look new, this may not be the case with yours but a quality battery like the efest imr or the aw may be a better choice for stacking or just plain old use period. I've actually used the trustfires and ultrafires without a problem for some time but have switched to the efest imr for a little piece of mind.

I stacked the 18350's to try them. I only vape at 6 watts with 1.8 to 2.5 ohm atomizers. The draw on the batteries is rarely touching 4 volts so I do not need the 7.4 volt stacked version to meet my needs. Stacking will be rare. I will continue to use the cheap 18350's in the short version and when they go bad replace them with better quality batteries. My 18650's are Efest IMR 2000mAh batteries.

I have a lot of experience with Lithium Polymer batteries all the way up to 4 cell 3300mAh LiPo's so I feel pretty safe with these Li-Ions using them properly and charging them on a good charger and keeping an eye on their health. I understand and practice good battery care.

I ordered a chrome one from here on 2/25 as a gift for a friend. I never received a tracking number via email, but I did receive an email stating that it was shipped on the 26th with no tracking number. If I check the site, he has a tracking number in the notes in my account but when I go to track it it just says "not found".

On the subject of stcking, anyone seen this in the user manual? Stacked 18650's! Man, that would be one huge chunk o metal!

I would be interested in just trying it out, even though it isn't even the slightest bit feasible. Anyone know where to purchase additional battery extender tubes for the Vamo? I couldn't seem to find anyone that actually sells them.

I ordered on 2-23, shipped on 3-2, and I have the same thing happening on my tracking number on both USPS and 17track; "not found". I realize that sometimes it doesn't change for a while, but I would really like to know when to expect it so I can be home to sign for it, instead of it just showing up one day!

It took my tracking # 2-3 business days before it started showing up on both of those sites.

Mine was in the mailbox when I got home. So, 12 days from placing my order.:toast:

That's great! I've had to sign for every package I've got from them as it's registered mail and 18 days was the shortest time I had to wait. I wish they would just leave mine in the mailbox, less of a pita if I'm not home.

sorry for the confusion. Lazy post. My wife signed for it.
I am pretty impressed so far. The battery life is great. I usually am vaping my Zmax, but this thing rocks !
