I don't think that's the VB one.. I get one with my vamo and it's really cheap... The tank is marked like a Vision only to 2.8ml but the heads and the heads are a little different than the one aClear. It looks like the metal above the coil is longer.. I rebuild evods all the time, but this looks like a pain because the coil sits so much deeper than either the evod or even aClear.. or at least in the picture it doesn't look as deep as what I have in my hand..

I just wanted to check it out for $6 bucks but I don't think it is worth my time trying to rebuild it.. On the plus side it did work pretty well and I was able to vape the thing almost completely dry..

The fasttech one for $5 shipped looks like the aClear...

I'm not knocking the Vivi...it works. I was looking for a metal tube for it when I stumbled on the aClear. I think I'll get an adaptor and a ProTank instead lol.

The Vivi Nova you get from VB is not a Vision Vivi Nova. It is a clone called aCLEAR. It is not recommended to use Vision replacement coils in it. Either get them from VB or an aCLEAR supplier. Here is a link to GotVapes to help identify what you have. The big difference is in the drip tip and coil head.

aCLEAR 3.5ml Variable Clearo Tank Kit w/3 heads Nova Clone-CLEAR [gv-aCLEARVariableTank-CLEAR] - $12.95 : GotVapes.com, E-cigarette Supplies - Atomizers Cartomizers Mods Juice and more

I ordered 3 about 3 months ago and I got the true vision vivi novas. Maybe he found the aclears were cheaper and purchased them instead.

GotVapes owner mentioned in a thread some time ago on why aClears cost more than Vision vivas, replied they cost him more.

I have 2 of these aClear vivas, I've replaced a broken tank (dropped on concrete) with a replacement Smoktek viva tank, and also have used Vision heads on them with no difference in performance. Only bad thing I see with aClears is that both are now experiencing the positive pin receding into the connector, making for an intermittent connection, and time to replace. Both are now doing this after daily & heavy use after 4 months. Due to this, won't buy an aClear again, will most likely go for a bottom coil like evod or the protank.

I ordered a stainless steel, took 3 weeks to arrive (from the point of payment accepted). I suspect Chinese customs opening it up and holding on to it for a while (according to google translate anyway). The tracking only worked up to the Chinese border for me (the site did warn me). Shipped to The Netherlands.
For some reason a Kanger T2 won't work on it, not with a 510-eGo adapter either. The battery is not knocking around in the slightest. I'm using an Eden Quality 18650, 2600mAh (protected Sanyo cell) from knivesandtools.nl. Currently vaping it with an AGA-T2, this is my first genesis setup and it works like a charm. It does have the brass spring on the end-cap.
I'm surprised to see RoHS and CE logos etched onto the back! It comes with a manual from an eGo variable volt/watt kit.

Some of the 510-eGo adapters have pushed the contact pin down on the Vamo. Please be careful when you use them. You might want to look at this thread: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/vamo/375871-vamo-ohm-error-fix.html

I've read here that protected batteries won't work in a Vamo.

So I ordered on the 13th March. After a loooong wait, I received a tracking number.
It looked like it left China on 31st March, so have been tracking domestic (South African) tracking for the last week or so.
I go back and check China post tracking and, low and behold, it's left China twice - latest on the 13th April. How is this possible?
Vaporbreak and China Post, really are a match made in hell.

Just received my new SS vamo 2nd one from vaporbreak today, 17 days after. The tracking number until yesterday only gave me info that it was dispatched from china at 2-04-2013 and nothing else. I've come to realize that these tracking numbers won't say much since it gave me today the info that it was in portugal, but not in distribution. Guess it was since i'm now vaping on my second new Vamo. :)

BTW the threads on this one didn't need the adjust, since they've came centered. :vapor:

I have a V1 and V2, both work fine with protected batteries, don't know why, they just do.

I have the chrome version with white buttons. I won't work with a protected 4000mah ultrafire 18650 battery. I took off the protection pcb and it works fine now. the battery must be 'high drain' or the vamo may shut down cos of low power..

I also have a 'vv350' and it doesnt work with 18650, it shuts down because of low voltage, it demands 2 x 18350 batteries (7.4v)

Those would be design flaws
1 with the battery the other with the vv350
Vamo Will work with Good Protected batteries. Junk Protected have to low an amp trigger to do the job. UltraFire XSL 18650 has no such issue.
