I'm at my local vapee shop "the vapor loft" and I'm torn between which one I should spend my money on.. I have an eGo and yeah the odysseus clone will look funny but argh I don't know... Someone please help tip me in one direction or the other.
I'd go with the Vamo - more instant gratification, unless you're comfortable building your own. I plan to practice on my Vivi Novas before I tackle the big stuff.
I'd say get the Vamo. It will be much better than the ego, and later you could pick up some RBAs - there are some inexpensive ones that are good. RBAs can have quite alearning curve, and may drain your ego batt pretty fast too. A Vamo will handle them better.

Actually the Ody clone is easier to rebuild than the Vivi Nova. Size alone is a big factor , the Vivi Nova is just so small. The Ody clone is just easier to use, no tilting, swishing or burnt taste . When I had Vivi Novas I kept saying I wish there was something like the VN, but better built and better looking and larger space to build. The answer was the Odysseus or the Terminator.
I'd get the Vamo. If you don't your likely going to find yourself at that store or online buying a mod of some sort eventually. The vamo is usually not an expensive device and does a lot.

the ody will not be as satisfying on a normal battery. plus you will have to make sure you have a multimeter available for testing the coils for shorts if you dont have a mod that can do it for you.
it will work but wont be as good as it should.
I appreciate everyones input but i ended up going with the RBA. i am a tinkerer and love rebuildables plus they were in limited quantity and i knew that the vamo is always gonna be around.
