If you're looking for sub $100 mods the tesla is a pretty good vv/vw mod. (variable voltage/variable wattage) pretty durable andyou can pick up the full kit for $60-$80 with everything you need to get you started. As far as going passed that the provari VV is probably the best in terms of durability and consistency. Throw a kranger protank or an iclear 30 on and you're all set. The protank will give you more flavor and decent vapor the iclear will give you more vapor but less flavor. Pick your poison.

I'm gonna throw in a zmax v3 tele recommendation. Vamo does have 510 problems with the plated brass 510. Sigelie is the smallest, strongest and best looking IMO. Get a couple 18650 efest imrs and the new efest Soda charger. Well that's my new set up after a lot of research. I got all of it for less than 70.00. That's the lowest price I was able to find stateside.

Thanks for the input everyone, some solid info here, and I think I am still headed for the Sigeli. Of course, the iTaste at that price just might win out over them all... even though I don't really want a box mod, and really prefer the OLED screen on the ZMax.

Jeremy.. where did you shop? That's cheaper than I am finding. I also refuse to shop overseas. I would like a retailer on this end to make a few bucks for importing them, and have a contact here in the states should I have questions or concerns.

Depends what you plan to put up top I don't trust the 510 connector on the MVP, BUT, I use a heavy stainless steel rba . I'm not sure how improved the new version is..

Where i shopped to be honest I don't really want to post it up for everyone. The dreaded oos drives me nuts. I ordered from 2 places and I highly recommend it the shipping was very inexpensive. Battery and zmax both from 101. The charger I got from a surprising source, vapingcraze. The have 250.00 mods & 180.00 rbas but the best deal on a charger by far. Now hopefully their not sold out by the time you order. It's happened to me so many times! I missed a zmax for 35.00 by one day waiting to get paid.

I agree with the Tesla mentioned earlier. If you are looking at a Vamo, do yourself a favor and look at the Tesla. I have both, and I use my Tesla WAY more than I use the Vamo. Here is a pic of both. The Tesla is on the left, and the Vamo is on the right.

The Tesla is also lighter than the Vamo, and is made from aircraft aluminum. The buttons on my Vamo have definitely felt wear and tear, whereas the Tesla still feels like the first day I got it. Also, the ability to lock the buttons on the Tesla makes accidentally raising the voltage/wattage a thing of the past. Here's a quick review of it:

Vamo!! no, no, Zmax for sure!!! no, no, no, SVD!!! yeah that's the ticket!! No, no, nemesis clone with a kick 2!!! yeah the best of both worlds,!!! no, no, Provari! I'll just save up and buy a Provari!!! No, no, hmm and SID!!!! heard great things about it!!!, no, no, a MVB V2, or was that MTV? I get sooo confused, just so many options, ahh I know, a telsa!!!! No, no, hmmm

Dude, you did the research and comparisons, we all had to make up our own minds. Make up yours! Make a decision and go with it. What ever you chose it will be better than an ego. Then you have to go through the whole process with an atomizer, cartomize, dripper, rba, rda, bottom feeder, ahhh, I can't take the pressure!!!!! Hit, stay, double down, it's up to you.

Damn, I need a vape!! So much pressure!!! Now I can't decide which device to use, you've got me so confused!:vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor::vapor: ahh, much better. Decided to vape first on the Nemesis with the Aqua rba, then promptly picked up the Provari with the Fogger V2 rba. Better change them out and try the Term-C and the Russian too, don't' want them to get lonely. HTH

I cannot comment on the Vamo and can only offer 2nd hand info for the Vmax..

The 5 star B&M here has been stellar for equipment supplies as well recommendations. They do not carry any of the Vmax lines the return rate on them was too high for them. They do offer swap outs on warranties as long as you have your receipt. They recommend the SVD as the returns on them have been very low. I have not made the jump on them yet.
I have a few 1000 mah ego C pasthroughs for back up to my back ups, I have the Inokin VV VW 3 for backup and the MVP2 from 101vape.com for primary currently. Some time in the near future I will be making the step up or over to and SVD or if I can take the wallet pain a Provari Zombie edition.

VV VW 3 is a good cheap variable, it does everything it says on the box, I am a little concerned that it is not durable but seems to be holding up fine.

I have only had the MVP2 in my hands for a day. I like it :)

I eagerly await the chance to hold my own changeable battery tube shaped mod. :)

+1 for the Tesla.
Similar to the vamo but without the infernal firing pin problems. I too have got both and have spent far too long IMO picking at that firing pin inside the vamos head to get a connection. You don't have this with the Tesla because the firing pin is on a spring and connot get pushed into the body of the head :)blush:body of the head.......hope that makes sense:blush:)

Yes, the spring loaded pin on the Tesla is one of the better selling points of it to me as well. At the beginning, I screwed down my vivi nova's too tight on the vamo, and it pushed the center post up on my vivi's and wouldn't fire after a while too.
With the Tesla, I don't have to worry about it.
OP, you can't go wrong with any of the choices you have out there, really. They each have their own pro's and cons...but in the long run, they ALL beat an ego style battery in terms of performance, in my opinion. That said, I do still have a few ego twists I carry with me wherever I go. They still work and work nicely, but I prefer the bigger APV's. Hope all of this helps you!
