Yes - I traded, and got a near-new condition VAMO.
Nice, I like it, good trade, I'm gonna use this thing.

1) I am PRETTY sure it's a V2. I know it's not a 3. Was there a V1, and how would I identify that?

2) Protank sits on it crappy - a TINY bit crooked, and a bit above the collar, so it's unsupported.
If I put on a ProTank Ego collar/beauty ring thing, then the Protank won't make contact with the pin.
Plus, it seems like it'll be a PITA to remove that collar in order to use anything else.

I don't want to mess around with the pin all the time, and don't want to get all crafty (no metal working tools) with the 510 connection.

Here's what I'm kind of thinking:
A) VAMO fires and fits my T3 PERFECTLY, but attaching a ProTank is wonky
B) My ProTank fits perfectly on my SVD, but the T3 has airflow issues
(EVOD and MiniProTank OK on both)

SOOOOOOoooooo:

I may just make the VAMO my T3 mod, and the SVD my ProTank mod.

Anyone have a simple alternative solution I should try to stay more flexible?
Like if the "air flow controller" made the VAMO perfect, I'd go for it (If I could EVER FIND ONE in stock)...

Thanks for tips!

I use one of these with the protank on my vamo

eGo Chrome Cone for the 3.5 mL Dual Coil Tank

It helps support it if I turn it down in just enough so that when I screw down the PT it just contacts the pin.
That works similar to a lock-nut if you know how that works and keeps me from cranking the pt down too far and pushing the pin down in.

I just got my Vamo today and this is exactly what I'm doing. If I screw the PT2 down enough that it doesnt wobble, then air flow os pretty much cut off. I screwed in the collar that I got with my mini Vivi Nova almost all the way so now I can screw the PT2 snug to the collar and it just makes contact and airflow is perfect. The gap between the tank and the Vamo is minimal. So far I am loving my new toy! This is my first step up from my Vision Spinners.

Sitting down, facing forward.
If a T3 fits directly onto you Vamo, it's a V2. The V1 top well is too small for a T3 sized delivery device to fit into so a 510/Ego adapter is needed with the V1. I have air controllers for my V2 and really don't like them. They add another quarter inch or more to the overall length and change settings far too easily for my taste. I should tighten that up I guess with a little Teflon tape or something. I use Protanks and PT2s as is, no big deal, just be careful with them. Another note, don't crank things down tight, just to finger tight, maybe light finger tight, to protect the threads on the Vamo. Remember, it's an APV not motor mounts on a 3000hp dragster.
