Posted this question earlier...in the wrong forum:blink:

So I just got my Vamo in today, and I'm concerned about the power (big button)...it seems loose..even rattles a bit. I sent a message to the supplier I purchased it from (exhalevapors) but was wondering if any of you Vamo users have seen this issue. I can't believe it's designed with a button feeling so .... cheap.
Appreciate any feedback!

My power button is somewhat loose...There is a rattle that comes from the up/down switch area and the right button tends to stick from time to time. I have had it for over 2 mos. now though and have had no real problems.

I do expect this sort of production inconsistency when the price and forward technology are considered.

The thing is if the one have now breaks tomorrow I still have plenty in mind to go purchase something else. If it craps out in 6 mos. then I will buy another figuring that it was a pretty good return.

Make sure you run in RMS mode, you've probably read up enough to know that. AVG may damage your atty/carto/clearo.

I have been very happy with mine and the only disappointment is that I need an adapter for the Kanger T3 (using that one on an eGo twist for now). Using clearo's from Ikenvape while waiting on some M3 clearos to try out, and considering ordering an adapter.

I would suggest if you haven't already to have a few eGo batts and maybe another mod around just in case you do have any problems with the Vamo. I quit smoking over a year ago and it might not have happened if I had gone through the frustration of gear breakdown during the early stage.

I have a chrome VAMO from Vapor Beast and a stainless one from Health Cabin. There is absolutely no button rattling of any kind with either. Contact Exhale.

I'd have to agree with this, I have a chrome from Vaporbeast and a SS from Vaporbreak, no issues whatsoever with the buttons, it's your money, if it were me I'd send it back for replacement.

Don't sweat this at all... The power button and + / - buttons are nothing but little pieces of metal that press down on a microswitch soldered onto a printed circuit board. They are free floating and flanged on the microswitch side so they don't fall through the holes in the tube.

I can assure you, the power button being a bit loose is perfectly normal, in fact, if you were to pull out the PCB they would just fall right out :)

Everything is fine!

Even the almighty ProVari fire button is nothing but a piece of flanged plastic that presses down on a microswitch.
