vamo settings changing

when i set the voltage, lets say to 3.7 then set the wattage to say 7.0 then vape. hmm somthings not right. check the wattage it's 7.0, check volts it back to 3.0. it happens vice versa reset the volts to 3.7 the wattage reverts to 3.0. it doesn't matter what i have it at the time either. i use efest imr 18350 and 18650 stacked/single still happens. vivi nova, u dct 2.0, iken vape 2.0 carto, what ever i put on this happens. is the chip set bad ? have had it 2 months from smoktek.

There's nothing wrong. When you change from voltage to watts or vice versa the unit resets to the starting setting.

from reading o here, you can't set your volts and watts. Its either one or the other.

thanks for the reply's but i don't think that's the case.but i could be wrong, i have gone back and change the volts with out the watts changing back to 3.0

The voltage always resets back to 3.0 when switching modes, but the wattage setting remains. It's weird, but that's how they made the device. I only use it in vw.

It is a safety issue. The if you change atomizers to a different resistance, the volts could result in to high power for your atomizer. Watts will still be fine, because the watts is based on the resistance.
