Vamo spring ?

I remember people had a problem with the Vamo spring but cant find that post. I just got 2 chrome vamos
with the silver spring, are those springs good or do I need to get the gold ones I see for sale ?
Not having any problems just want to make sure, Thanks.

the silver ones work but the battery will rattle inside..gold 1 is slightly bigger and holds battery snug

Silver also can get warm under high-drain use (eg chaining 13W dual-coils.) Not dangerously so, to reports, but noticably.

HeliX hot spring - Avid Vaper

MUCH better fit. Just bend the largest/lowest coil out ever so slightly and it will fit in the end cap perfectly with no more battery rattle. Looks and feels nicer too.
