So I picked up a Vamo from electronicstix.com on 12/20. I recieved it and have been using daily since 12/24. The problem lies with the first battery tube that is attached to the head. It is simply pressed onto the head and on my device this keeps coming off. This thing works PERFECTLY but this battery tube issue is pretty major. It's almost to the point that it is falling off. I've emailed the vendor today to address the issue and I'm currently awaiting response. Anyone else run into this yet?

i haven't heard of that yet but that doesn't mean it hasn't happened to any one else. the only issue i am having is not being able to put the battery cap on in short mode...something is wonky with the threads i guess but ill mess with it some more later

i hope the vendor promptly helps you out! good luck!

Thanks! I'm hoping they stand up for their customers. This was my first order with them. I have heard mostly good things about them so we'll see. That sucks about your battery cap...mine hasn't given me any issues. This device is spot on except for this tube issue I'm having. Personally I think they should have had this first cap threaded in the first place. That would have been too easy I guess...gotta love cheap mods...no worries for $50 I'm happy either way. I'll rig it up somehow if they don't help out. We will see.

I guess I should post a couple of pics to show what I'm talking about with the battery tube coming apart. Here goes.

Well I took your paper suggestion and instead of paper I cut a very thin strip of basic clear scotch tape..I don't see this thing falling off in my hands anytime soon. I had to force the two pieces together and it is still firing fine. :) cheers to ghetto fixes! :toast:
Scotch Tape!!! You didn't say you wanted to get high teck or blow a fortune on a temp fix;-)

I would do that but I'm terrified of it not making a connection and then having it so permanent that I actually ruin it. I read on the jbweld website that it does not conduct electricity but insulates it...hmm I wish I knew more about it. I just hate the thought of ruining a perfectly good mod.
