Vamo V2 with Efest Purple 3100 mah battery

Hi guys,
has anyone used a efest purple 3100 mah batteries with Vamo V2?
Thought of ordering a couple, at the moment I'm using Panasonic flat 2400 mah batteries and they need replacing.

Should work just fine. The Vamo will work with flat top or button top batteries, and will only draw (if memory serves me) around 2.5 amps at most. I don't know much about the new purple Efest batteries, but even if it's continuous draw is lower than stated on the battery itself, it's still going to be well within the requirements of a Vamo.

my only worry is that is it the same size like the other batteries, the Panasonic CGR18650CH fits perfect, so is it the same thickness, height in dimensions?

I have one of those batteries in my DNA 30 clone. It has very good life and no problems as far as output, since even at 30W it will never exceed 7 or 8 amps anyway. Should be no problems whatsoever in a Vamo.

Well, I don't have a Vamo V2, mine is a V5, but I'd imagine they are similar enough where I can say that the purple Efest should fit just fine. There is more than enough room in the battery tube even if the purple Efest is a little thicker, and enough compression in the spring if it is a little longer. It's still an 18650, which is 18mm x 65mm (give or take some variance between batteries).
