Everybody seems to recommend Evod tanks or Kanger Protanks, neither of which I've used on my Vamo, yet at least. I still use cheap 510-threaded clearos since I have a ton of 'em left from my 510 cigalike, and they work fine around 7-8w. Can't help much with juices, nothing I've vaped so far burns at those wattages and I use mostly lighter colored 50/50 blends.
Yeah, I'm not saying higher or lower wattage won't work, just that for my personal tastes and what I tend to vape, that's what works for me.
You'll be able to figure out pretty quickly what Wattage you enjoy vaping at. The only time I ever go above 8 or 9 Watts is with dual coil setups. A 1.5ohm dual coil cart is nice at 12W but starts tasting burnt at anything above that.
I'm not sure if there are any toppers that won't work for your Vamo. With 510 and ego threading, you're pretty well covered, with the possible exception of the Kanger MT3's, which may be too wide for your drip well. The V3 fixed this, btw. Think it's going to come down to your personal preference on the topper, i.e., clearo, carto, tank, RBA, RDA, etc. Also, the great thing about variable voltage is that you can adjust the output to match your coil resistance and juice. Some juice doesn't like higher voltages. This chart is fairly good, and certainly a good place to start:

Remember to set your Vamo to N02 and wattage to get the most consistent vape.
Voltage to the atomising device can be provided in two ways from the mod.
RMS and AVG. It is recommended that users use the RMS (Root Mean Square) mode as this will be a more reliable and accurate method of delivering consistently accurate voltage.
• Hold either the + OR - button for 10 seconds to toggle between modes.
• RMS mode = N02 displayed on screen
• AVG mode = N01 displayed on screen

The VAMO is a solid device which I have used extensively for about three months now - I have used Vision Vivi Novas, Vision clearos, Kanger Protanks, Kanger Evods, X10 (Fasttech), and I have played a little with an AGA-T2 and AGI. Net of it is with the flexibility of the variable volatage / wattage, you can get just about anything to run well on it. (As long as you don't use low ("sub") ohm atomizers.) As noted in the earlier posts, the attachment options are good (510, eGO, etc) and the ability to select wattage males it a pretty flexible device.
I have the V2 and my current preference is the MT3. It does fit well on the V2. I have tried ProTanks but I am not a fan. This is mostly due to the heat here in AZ. Going outside or to my car, the heat seems to thin the juice and possibly expand the aluminum parts so that it floods every time. It's a PITA. It also is not a solidly mounted without an adapter ring but the one included with the ProTank does not fit on the V2. I have not had that problem with the MT3. I also have EVOD and it is fine, just smaller tank than the MT3.
As was already mentioned, bottom feed is definitely preferred. Much less likely to get that burnt tasting dry hit.

The stainless on fsttechs isn't polished. It has a different computer display (looked at youtube reviews) if identical supposed functionality computer of the V2. The vw mode doesn't seem to self adjust too much, so ohms law is needed.
That said it does have a larger well (like the v3 but not that V3 computer system or display either) but for example a T3 with skirt will fit.

There isn't actually a "real" Vamo from what I can tell. They're all just made to the same design using the same chipset. Which is different from something like a Protank which is made by Kanger exclusively.
So a Vamo is a Vamo. I've had the Fasttech Vamo V3 for a few weeks now and haven't had any problems. The guy at my local vape shop has a Vamo V2 from them and it's holding up well. So, I think you'll be fine.

hmm someone said, yeh I know... Blah blah, just odd the computer display seems more old fashioned but with the bigger if unremovable drip-well i'm ok with it. I kind of expected more from VW but you turn something up you get burnt taste I suppose.
The Novas it came with were hilariously horrible at first but I rebuilt them, wick and coil and they are perfectly acceptable rebuildable disposables. I think it was the wick, poor quality silica.
