    No you can't
I have a V2 for over 1 1/2 it's still hanging on by a thread and V5 also that I'm vaping right now at 10 watt's with 2.0 ohm coil and just order another this week in gun metal from fastech. I use mine in RMS better flavor and more vapor. I love them all. I use one 18350 batteries when I go out, it nice palm size for me. Home 18650. They come with instructions but doesn't tell you how to switch from means to RMS - Hold down right button it take a while but your go into Means/RMS.

I have 2 V2s (ss, al), ssv3, ssV5, All have been good devices. Love my Vamos.
The mention earlier regarding MEAN/RMS. If yours is like all of the Vamos I gotten to date, it will come in MEAN mode. Set it to RMS first thing. The setup instructions don't mention it or how to set it up. Hold the left or right (+or-) button down for 10 seconds. The display should show RMS. If not, do it again until it shows RMS.

The problem, I think, with the center pin is that people tend to tighten down their toppers too much. That may have been the problem with the second-hand v2 I have. I would rather do the clearo bottom tight, but the clearo to the vamo only tight enough to make contact. That way I don't have a significant problem with juice flooding when the wrong part unscrews.

I having been eyeing the v5. I have a v3 that is my go to device and was the first one I bought when I started vaping. Any additional comments on why I would want to upgrade to the the v5? If the quality is anything like the v3 it should be a solid choice.

the v5 and v3 are the same internals just different bodies I believe.

vamo was my first mod, and it's a good one. my first one was a v2, and i lost it around the time i was getting into mechs and rebuildables. even though i knew i'd never use it as a daily, i ordered a v3 replacement. it's good for doing quick checks on build resistances and battery levels, and it's a good back-up/travel mod if i need it.

I have two Vamo V2s and both are still going strong. One in particular was used daily for months on end. 18350 at work and 18650 at home. The only thing that went wrong with it is is I wore off the coat a little bit under the fire button - because I used it so much. :D I j-wrapped it anyway. Lately I've been using an SVD but I still get the Vamo out sometimes.
