Rnos - my fiance owns a gun store in CT, would it be easy enough to find someone through him? We modify guns anyway, ive just never seen anyone ask for a color/ paint customization.... plus, im inpatient - i cant bear to part with my VAMO longer than i need to! Just kidding - i really do love the way this thing vapes!

Rnoserious, I finally did it. I used big channel locks, wrapped the jaws many times with duct tape (to keep them from scratching more), on the cap. "Wiggled" the pliers with varying force and different angles for about half an hour while holding onto the body. The cap finally popped off. Working on a brushed finish on the body and a mask for the edges of the display bezel. I guess time and determination does the trick. Thanks for the video.
