Mornin all! Hope y'all are having a great AM!
Luv, I think it might a bit more involved with HHV. Mom was on their site last week and it said there was a family emergency and there would be a delay in filling orders. That's probably why it took longer than normal.

I"m still watching Isaac, but the models generally have it hitting a good bit east of here. Living here in NO, hurricanes and the occasional evacuation is just part of life. One of my requirements when I buy my cars is that they have to have enough room to evacuate in. At least we can evacuate pretty easily. I can't imagine where Cheeky and Glen could evacuate to if they had to. I always head to Mom's when I evacuate. Most people don't go that far; they head for Baton Rouge or such. They learned last time though; the last hurricane that came through here pretty much bypassed us and headed straight for BR! I'm not goiing to make any final plans until late Sunday or Monday; the path should be pretty much set by then.

Oh, and I talked with the mailman. He claims that he never got the packages and gave me a number to call. Unfortunately, it was busy the few times I called on Friday. I'll try again on Monday.

I've been following the path of Isaac as well, and the National Hurricane Center still shows the same projection as yesterday. If it keeps going as predicted, the South-West tip of FL is going to get hit pretty bad, but Tampa Bay should only get heavy rain and some wind. As for evacuation, I don't know about Cheeky, but I'm not in a flood area and my house is concrete block so I'm fairly safe. I hope the path steers clear of NO and you don't have to deal with any evacuation or storm damage.

In other news, I haven't purchased anything in 2 weeks and I'm having withdrawal. Where is a methadone clinic when you need one!

Glen, on it's current track, I'd say you'll get lots of rain and lots of wind. Glad to know you're in sturdy construction. Given I'm in a raised wooden house, plus I have a family that would kill me if I didn't evacuate when facing a hurricane, I worry more about evacuation than most. I've finally broken them of worrying about a tropical storm, thankfully.

Update: I got 2 juices from Hella back when I visited Mom. Didn't care for either of them then, even after quick-steeping. However, after an additional 2 weeks of steeping, they both have turned out to be possibly my favorites of the Hella juices. Krispy-E treats tastes like a Rice Krispie treat, kinda. A bit nutty, actually. My favorite of the 2 is the Cherry Cherry Bang Bang. If you like Maraschino Cherries and bananas, with a bit of caramel and cream, you'd love this. One of the reviewers got it right: think banana split, minus the chocolate and nuts. I'm tempted to add a bit of the Mayan Apocalypse to it, lol.

Booyah! I just figured out a trick for those of you carto tank folks who don't have a tank tool. I was looking at the metal drip tip I got from CCV as a bonus w/my cartos and it hit me! I capped the carto with the drip tip and then slid it up into the tank. Like Buttah! Not only that, but once you've got it almost all of the way through, there's a space open where you can drip your juice into the tank

Okay, I've got a bit of a mystery going on. Mom just called: her order from MR. E came in. She fell in love with the sampler they send her: Green Dragon. Well, there's no Green Dragon on the site. I checked. Why would you send a sample of something that can't be ordered?

The only evac we have to worry about over here is for wildfires (which we did have to do a few years ago for about a week) earthquakes are too unpredictable, besides that where is one to go anyway???

Hi folks. Update: Mom loves both the Green Dragon and the Lemon Ice. She talked to the owner; apparently it hasn't been placed on the site yet. She can order it by ordering another juice and putting a comment saying to switch with the Green Dragon.
Oh, and Mt. Olympus also has 1000mah twists for $17.99! They're only in black and stainless however.

Well damn! The models have the storm moving west, perhaps hitting us or even to the west! I'm going to be using today to get ready in case I need to evacuate, which I'll decide tomorrow morning. I'm hoping to not have to board up, but I'm getting supplies just in case. Wish us luck here in New Orleans, guys!

Damn dude! I just checked the tracking on the NHC site and saw that new path and that it's expected to reach category 2 before landfall. Whatever you have to do to prepare and stay safe, do it. I'll be saying prayers for you and everyone else in NO.

That's great news about your mom and her favorite vape flavors! My mom passed away several years ago from lung cancer, and it's quite possible that vaping could have saved her life (or at least prolonged it) had it been developed 10 years earlier.

Afternoon all... yes, saying a little prayer for the safety of everyone down south.
It's been a busy weekend,, well, the last four or five days have been insane. Long story short, the evil stepdaughter went into rehab on Wednesday, left on Wednesday (about an hour after her father dropped her off) and everyone was running around like chickens trying to figure out what to do with her since this was the THIRD time she's walked out and now has two felony counts hanging on her. She was headed to jail on Friday unless somebody found her a rehab bed. The loser boyfriend found her one, four and a half hours away so after a family court appearance on Friday, hubby took her to rehab, yet again. I guess it won't be so easy for her to walk out when she's almost five hours away. As far as we know, she's still there but I don't hold out much hope.

Then we had friends come up to camp at a State Park that's close to us so spent yesterday with them,,, and a good time was had by all!! Met them for breakfast this morning and they'll be headed home tomorrow.

This being hubby's Sunday off, the ex expected that we would take the grandchildren,,, since she apparently thinks it's our job. Sorry, not today. I have a ton of stuff to do and I just don't have time today. She said some mean and horrible things to us last week and we have nothing more to do with her. All contact goes through her husband, she's a lunatic. Anyway,,, enuf of that.

Ripped all the carpet out of the bedroom today and that's the end of the carpet in here. I hate carpet. Hardwood floors are much easier to keep clean.

My blue Twist is acting up.. I had used the 5 click shut off last night and then it wouldn't turn back on. The button's been sticky lately, so I'm thinking it's either dead or getting ready to be. I did get it to turn back on this morning but I think it's time is limited. The Vapor Girl has some really pretty 900mah embossed twists.. not genuine, I'm sure but dang, they're pretty! I might order one of those.. I can't be without my Twists!

Not sure about Glen, but the skies here are getting dark & stormy - sending Iron Monkey out with the pups before it starts pouring. Really glad the storm isn't projected to give us a direct hit (can't imagine evacuating in my current condition!), but sorry it looks like Reidus may get the brunt of it.

The skies on this side of the bay are beginning to look a bit ominous, but I've seen much worse. I'm much more concerned for Reidus and the other good people on the south Gulf coast of at this point.

Hi guys, Hope y'all are all okay.
Whew! I've gotten all of the various stuff in my yard packed away, stored all of my breakables in closets and am doing laundry! I'm getting the hell out of Dodge in the morning! I'm heading back up to Mom's probably for the week. I'm cancelling my classes for the week; I figure the school will finally decide to close on Tuesday and I'm not waiting! They're already calling for evacuations for those people living outside of the levies (I'm not one of them). Luckily, I don't teach on Friday, and Monday's Labor Day. It'll probably take that long to get power back on after the storm.
Wish me luck, Lizards! I'll let you know when I get to Mom's!

Reidus, safe travels to you!! I was watching the storm tracker last night and immediately thought of you! And was hoping you were getting out of there.

Finally got my inversion table put together and tried it out last night.. OMG, what a stretch you get on that thing! It felt wonderful! You can't hang upside down like that for very long but dang, I felt the stretch all the way through my back and neck.

Order from HHV should be here today, hell I can't even remember what I ordered! Bunch of stuff for the latest convert, but had included a couple new things for me. It'll be a surprise!

Glad to here the inversion table works! Tara has some friends who swear by them.
Speaking of Tara, I swear she's cursed. She ordered a replacement Stardust and somehow managed to strip the threads after 1 use! I'm going to sit down with her while I'm home and have a Vaping 101!
Finished getting my prep work done. Emptied out my fridge, I"m waiting on the trashmen to show up and empty out my big rolling can so i can lock it up on my patio. I'm planning on leaving sometime after the 11:00 update is released. Keeping my fingers crossed; the 8:00 update had it downgraded to a Cat 1. Hopefully the 11:00 will say the same!

Glad to hear you're safe! Mythus, I don't think I ever answered your question.... I got my Twists from MVS. IDK if they're genuine but they've worked well since I got them. I'm still drooling over those pretty design ones over at the vapor girl. You just know I'm gonna end up with one
