Thanks Ms Cheeky :)

How come you don't just keep your stash, buy 0 nic, and mix them to have some 6mg on hand? You could even tweak the %'s to get a 4mg, or 2mg, for that matter. I just hate the thought of you losing all those flavors that you seem to adore...

just my:2c:

I'd love to keep my stash, but I'm having 3 level ACDF (anterior cervical discectomy & fusion), with replacement disc wedges, titanium plate and bone stim.

Since nic is a bone growth inhibitor, I need to be 0nic 99% of the time until fusion is complete, at which point I get to gear up for probable fusion of the L3-S1, and then both SI joints. I'm going to have to be nic free for a long time, so I'm selling most of my 12mg, and replacing it with 0nic in most of the same flavors :)

I'm not really losing the flavors I adore, just switching to their 0 octane clones :) As long as I have the flavor and vapor, I think I'll be a happy camper. And yes, I do intend to vape in the hosptial :D

Oh yeah, and I agree. Why don't you do some mixing, keep some of your stuff?

Never fear, I'm keeping a very small amount of 12mg to mix with the corresponding 0mg :) But I don't want much on hand because I do need to be 0nic as much as possible, and only have nic in case of absolute "OMG I'm going to go buy a pack of cigarettes if I don't vape some nic!!!!" emergency :)

Sounds like a good plan bebe. Last couple of months, I've been dealing with 4 bulging discs, so I feel some of your pain :(

I vape mostly 9nic during the day and sitck to 0nic after 8pm, and to tell you the truth, I don't notice any difference between the two.

YIPEE!!!! I"m so happy to hear (read) that someone doesn't notice the difference between nic & no nic! Really, really happy!

I'm so sorry you're dealing with bulging discs though! If you ever need to talk about it, feel free to PM or email me & I'll do what I can to help, even if you just need to vent & don't want to be a "whiner" with your family/friends :)

I think I've already asked you this, but are you coming for VapeStock next weekend?! I'd love to meet you, and it's going to be a really great time!

You're too cute...why whine when there's wine!!! I've been dealing with this crappy back of my for 40 years, I figure that's why god made alcohol :D

Crap, is it next weekend? I've been toying with the idea, my youngest just graduated high school this past weekend, and promptly got both me and my husband sick with this horrendous cold, so I'm not sure if we'll be better by then.

LOL love that attitude! With my meds, 1 glass of wine = drunk monkey... Iron Monkey loves that I'm suddenly a cheap date lol

It IS next weekend, and colds are forbidden from stopping you from coming and playing at VapeStock! This year should be pretty huge, about 350 confirmed attendees I think, so probably more like 500 vapers all blowing giant plumes of vapor, with free flowing drinks and beach - as someone once told me, smokers tend to be the life of every party, and we're all former smokers, so it's going to be one hell of a party! Take some airborne, and hop in the car!! :D

(or hop on a plane :sneaky: I'm looking at you Luv, Mythus (okay okay graduation = valid excuse I guess), Reidus, and every other vapaholic lurking out there! :))

Welcome home Reidus! AC is crucial in climates like ours, isn't it :)
The red beans & rice sound yummy, and the ability to freeze & reheat makes it even better! Post or PM your recipe, please, I'd like to whip up a batch to freeze pre-surgery :)

Cheeky, here's the recipe:

Red Beans and Rice
1 pkg. red kidney beans
2-3 tbsp. oil
1 cup onions
1 cup celery
1 cup green bell pepper
Meat (ham, sausage, ham hock, etc.) the more the better ;-)
3-4 tbsp creole seasoning
2 bay leaves
Either soak the beans overnight or do a quick soak: put beans and water into a stockpot, bring to a boil, turn off the heat and soak for 1 hour.
In a large Dutch over, sauté onions, celery and bell pepper in oil until tender, around 10 minutes. Add beans and remaining ingredients; cover with water (if cooking in a Dutch over, add water to around 1 inch over beans).and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and cook for 2 ½ to 3 hours. Mash some of the beans against the side of the pot to thicken. Add cooked rice and serve.

Oh and a trick Mom showed me: Combine the onion, celery and bell pepper with the oil in a microwave-safe dish and nuke them! She says she sautes all her veggies that way and it actually works! Nuke on high for 5 minutes and check; you might need to go a few minutes more. Less mess and keeps that stove turned off.;)

And thanks; I went back to Deej's site and found the Apocalyptic Lemonberry. it. Will definitely include in my next order.

Spoken like a true New Orleanian! I went to Tulane....bestest time (even though I can't remember much of it) :D

Does Vapestock allow old ladies (I'm 54)?

Nah, New Orleans didn't teach me about Jack. Apparently Mom used to rub my lips with it when I was cholicy and wouldn't sleep, lol. Now, NO has taught me the joys of Pimms Cups and Sazeracs, lol. Hmm. Pimms Cups. I've got the Pimms; tomorrow I'll have to go get the rest, lol.

As far as 54 being old, it damned well better not be, as I'm turing the big 50 later this month!

Need some advice: I've got like 15 cartos that I want to clean and I don't really want to take the time to use the syringe on each one individually. I'm planning on ordering a jewelry cleaner like one of you suggested, but I'm not there yet. This leaves boiling, I guess. How long do I boil, and how many times do I drain and boil again?

Oooh, Pimm's Cup....used to LOVE those ;)
Are you a Gemini or a Moon Child?

But seriously, a shot of Jack before bed will help with the cough and clearing up the gunk in your airways. My sister adds some lemon juice and honey, but hey! I'll take mine like a man! :toast:

In my house, we used Johnny Walker. I kid you not, I always do the whiskey, honey and lemon cure. I heat the whiskey in the micro for 10 secs, then add the honey and lemon. The fumes alone are worth it :D

Do you have a steamer? I found it worked better than boiling.

I'm definitely a Moon Child, lol.

Actually, I think I do have a steamer. I haven't used it in years. Exactly how do you steam your cartos? God, i can't get it out of my head: I keep seeing me adding lemon juice and butter, lol.

I'm a Moon Baby too, no wonder I like you ;)

Not a vegetable steamer, you goob, something like a Steam Shot or such.

I guess they don't have Pimm's cups in West Palm? There's few better summer-time drinks, IMHO.

Oooh, smarta** time?? Yes, we do have Pimm's here in the wilderness, I just forgot about it in my senility
