It's always best to talk to the parents (if you're not the parent) and to your partner before vaping around any children be it small medium or large LOL. I talked with my husband and showed him before doing it in front of my son (11 yrs old). I feel that they deserve the respect you gave them when you smoked. I don't do it in front of my Mother but most everyone I know doesn't mind. It's funny how my husband can tell by the smell of the vape when I exhale that the carto is bad because he says it makes the vapor smell weird. I also found that just like when I was around other peoples children, at school or work I can last without vaping just like a did without smoking or I can go outside. I don't want to push this on anyone because I feel that eventually most people come around and see the difference.

Anyways that's just my :2c:!

My mother is 89 and was so delighted that I quit smoking, she was all for the vaping. However, one month later she started asking me when I was going to quit vaping. LOL

I don't do it in front of my mother because she's judgement and never listens and knows it all. She once told me that before I ever make any decisions I should call and discuss things with her first. I'm 35 years old and she thinks I'm 10. So I figure I'm going to enjoy this be proud of myself and not bring undo BS down on me by tell her anything. But I did get my revenge. 5 minutes after her saying that to me I called her back and said I was thinking of going to the bathroom since my bladder feels full, do you think this is a good idea. She hung up on me LMAO

My kid is 23 months old, I don't mind vaping in from of him. When he gets older, I'll explain harm reduction to him. Same as I'll explain use of condoms, and setting up a designated driver. I don't want him vaping, drinking, or having sex, but as DARE showed us, abstinence education is not a substitute for safety education.
