I know this sounds crazy but it is true.

At my office I will step into the warehouse to for a vape break. The warehouse is large and open. In the corner closest to the door I go in there are A/C and electrical controls mounted on the wall - however this happens everywhere near my facility.

My vape stings, has less taste and is not enjoyable. When I get in my car and leave, once I get away from the building, the vape is smooth and enjoyable again - no sting at all.

For the life of me I can't figure it out. We do not manufacture anything here and there are no chemicals. My best guess is that something is reacting with the PG. I do notice that the sensation is worse the closer I am to where all the electronics are - so I've started going to the warehouse bathroom, but even there it is evident.

My question is if anyone else has experienced anything like this? Heard of this phenomenon?

i'm thinking its something to do with humidity

in my own house i am usually upstairs where its cooler, the window are open , but often when i go downstairs where its warmer and the windows are closed and probably more humidity, i notice a difference in my vape; for one thing it seems to be louder.

Interesting. I keep my home very cool, however I watch after my father on the weekends and he keeps his house hot as hell (he's old). I don't notice a difference, humidity as well, because the warehouse has big truck door openings that stay open most of the time, yet when I go outside and get out from the building, it's fine.

Good to know that you have noticed a difference too though.

I have noticed over the years that my vape sometimes tastes different when I'm active or outside. It tastes best when I'm relaxed and comfortable. I find the same thing happens when I eat.

I consider it 'mind over matter' and accept it as just how this stuff works for us.

:offtopic::

I too notice a different vape in the summer time (more humidity) when outside. Also, a lot of my tanks vape so much differently when I am in my car driving around than when I get home and chillvape.

Always after I eat something, my vape hits the throat like I just started subohming. It levels out after a few vapes though.

I've noticed my vape seems harsher in the early morning right after I get up, and at night when I'm just chillin' in bed right before I go to sleep. I've determined that it's because my breathing is lighter and shallower at those times -- if I take a couple of big deep breaths before I take a toot, the harshness seems to go away.

if its a humidity factor.... do a test, go into the bathroom turn on the shower with hot water only, humidify the air and vape. See if it has the same sting, if not, then its stray EMF from the electricity inducing harmonic fields into your mod and warping the time continueum and morphing the nic into some bizzare mind altering drug that makes you feel like you are experiencing a stinging sensation ;)

Is this true even toward the end of your workday? I notice that vaping high nicotine or doing lung hits of certain Nic levels makes my eyes water early in the morning, so I use a vape with less nicotine. Sounds horrible, but I need to irritate my throat gently at first to desensetize. Just my experience and theory.

Durring the summer when I bail hay at this farm, I notice the same issue. The vape isn't hotter, but more irritating.

I feel it may just be a breathing "issue" with the surrounding quality of air.

Bailing hay, there is all kinds of dusts in the air and I feel that THAT is the culprit. As the dust irritates the lungs, the vapor compounds that irritation.

Also noticed it when I was working in a FORD factory a few months back. Being on the work floor where parts are being pressed/made, throat would get itchy vaping. Walking to the other side of the plant to assembly, all the irritation in the vape dissapears.
