Hi all,
I've been using a t22 vape mod for a while now and I'm happy with how it has been going. Just a moment ago however, I went to fill my bottle of water and without thinking thinking I may have had a little bit of liquid on my fingers and palm of my hand and then used my vape, I realised quickly after using the vape though that I could be in a bit of a situation with the mod. Is there any chance of something happening? I've fired the vape and it seems to be working.

In my experience, a little water on a mod won't harm it. Water IN the mod is bad. Sounds like a very small amount of water on the outside only so you should be fine!

leave you vape with some Silicas packs and all moisture and humidity might be away over some hours.. turn your vape off, then leave it inside a box with some of these...

I'm sure your question is long answered by now but a bit of water, meh. Keep in mind we bring this thing to our lips all the time. Our lips (properly hydrated) should be moist and all that. Ever sneezed while vaping yet?

Well, I'm sorry but I have and I have gotten little droplets of moist things ALL over my mods. Once I recovered from my sneeze, (unpleasant) I cleaned it off, at least secure in the knowledge that it was MY bodily fluids.

I have also dropped SEVERAL vapes into several hot cups of coffee. Yeah yeah yeah don't ask but now I use lids, at least until I'm awake.

The first (an el cheopo--ish Target Mini not that Vapresso is not a superior Chinese company they make good mods) was fine TWICE, I just dried it in front of a fan. Still vapes like a champ.

My second, a much larger expensive purchase the Radius was like fine-- the first time. The board fried the second time. It's a waterproof board but the heat plus it was SO HOT (the coffee_ meant it was in there for a while like the second time before I could dump it out in the sink. It was like, "Anna you try me ,you do not deserve nice things" so I'm hoping to get it repaired before too long but my main point is for most mods (baring say the brand smok which you may want to avoid) well you can sing with you mod in the rain (not a monsoon) and hiding your vapes from the FDA in say the top of your toilet is not a good hiding place. Not that I'm sure you'd ever need such a dastardly deed anyway.

Welcome

Anna

Rice doesn't help dry anything!

Question: Have you given any thought to testing silica packets? I have read they should be used over rice.

Mooch: I have some indicating silica gel coming but all these different substances can only absorb moisture that has evaporated to outside of the case of the device. If the moisture is already out, why try to trap it in a container long enough for the substance to eventually absorb it? Just blow it away so the humidity immeduately surrounding the device is lowered and evaporation is easier.
