i use windex and a glass rag i have been wanting to try rain-x anti fog works great when cold weather starts and had a theory that it may slow the build up but keep forgetting to pick some up when i go to the auto parts store.
I think glass cleaner leaves a little residue. I noticed it when I clean my glass coffee table. Like shynsly said water and alcohol. I don't use white vinegar though. I don't like the smell it leaves behind.
I've never experienced this, but I always have the window cracked a bit even in negative double-digit temps. When I clean windows, I use windshield washer fluid. It's super cheap and quite effective.
I find that Invisible Glass works wonders, but you have to let it stand for about a minute before wiping with either newspaper or gas station paper towels.
The paper towels you buy for the home (or for cleaning your atties) leave streaks behind.
Since it's been cold out my windows are always fogged up with some sort of condensation. When I clean it with a little ammonia in water it just rubs the film around. I don;t recall such a big problem last year (my first winter vaping)
Funny. My last car was before I started vaping and after I quit smoking and was brand new. Never Vape or smoked in and still got a film on the inside of the windshield. Now I just Vape till the clouds are thicker then the film! Just kidding!
But really what the hell are you people doing looking through the windows while driving? Don't you know you're supposed to be staring at your phone updating your Twitbook or Instaface?
I don't typically have too many problems, I turn on the defrost for my windshield with driver & passenger windows cracked slightly, and it blows most of it away.
