I think what we also need to remember that as members of the vaping community, when a non vaping person or relative noob asks for recommendations, or we are making suggestions on what to get, that we remember most of us started with very basic equipment.
As I recall, one of the recent incidents the apv was a suggestion of a friend, I'm unsure if the user was experienced user or not. We don't know what the end users capabilities are, for example, pointing someone who is the equivalent of a light smoker, who doesn't want more than a simple carto and 510/808 or ego style battery, doesn't need a carto tank on a (insert apv here). I think that we need to be responsibly educating users.
I've noticed an increasing number of new non-vaping members asking questions about what apv to purchase and a number of very insistent posters telling them to stay away from basic equipment. Granted we can find fault with some mfgs of the same equipment, but based on their needs vs wants, we can point them to a good equivalent.
