Make sure you are looking at the specs, trying to figure out how big something is from a photo, without a size reference can be a silly endeavor. That person obviously has very small hands. I have said this from the first day that they released photos, same person (maybe), small hands... no photos with a good size reference.

All we can go by is the specs.. and the specs show you exactly what you're dealing with. Is it indeed bigger than the other two? Sure... but with the battery potential, is it really that much bigger?

I've been looking at specs. The width is my concern, because a wide mod is an uncomfortable mod. But, overall it is a lot bigger. 30-40% bigger.

The size is mostly battery, but if it's uncomfortable to use then it's kind of a no-go for me. For $117, I'll probably let it come in. But size is my biggest concern ATM. I upgraded from my Hana clone due to size and feel. It's just not ergonomic. I love the feel of my SX Mini M-Class. I know I'm going to have to sacrifice comfort relative to that mod.

I get that, the biggest difference would be width.

Have you had a Hammond Box mod before? This is going to be about the size of a Hammond 1590G Box (Little shorter but, wider and about the same depth), 1550A or 1590A. Those are the cloest things I can think of that are available to hold right now, and if those don't feel good... I don't think this guy would be much better.

just wondering, if I were to cancel my order from FT, do I click cancel shipment? Then what, my money is refunded back to PayPal then back into my checking account? Do I open a ticket? My thought is, if I start seeing the HCigar VT200's for sale here in the states sooner than FT gets the VTbox200, I'd just pay the $170 to be done with it.

A UK supplier, Angel FIre Mods, recently announced the VT200 and said their ETA was 10th September - about two weeks later than their ETA for the VT Box.

Of course we can't be sure that relates directly to FT, nor that the VTBox won't be (further) delayed.

In my experience with pre-sales through sites like that, where they just have a authorization sitting in paypal... is that you send the request to cancel the order... and then you contact paypal to remove the authorization.

If you happen to not cancel the authorization they just sell you the damn thing anyway.

FT has the red version too, unfortunately the coupon code does only work with the white.

And the white ETA is in 6 days!! (eta was most of the time correct @ FT for me - even earlier sometimes)

What that means is they will get the product on maybe the 8/26/2015 and then they will ship it out in 5 days as what they have told me. Hope that helps

20 days is Fasttech's standard with preorders. It simply means that it'll take a long time, not sure how long, until they get the item. ETA is a guess, you can't hold them to it.

I'm guessing they probably have over a hundred and fifty preorders by now and I'm guessing me jumping on the bandwagon a week ago means I'll have to wait for the next batch to come in. Oh well, FT got my dough so I'll just rest my neck and relax.

I ordered through Gearbest but if they're anything like FT it will take at least 3 weeks to reach my door from the time they ship so I'm in no hurry. Last I looked Gearbest had over 500 pre-orders and I was in at around the 100 mark so I should certainly be on their first shipment I think.
