Hey all. I got in a head on collision on Jan 31, fracturing my kneecap which, needless to say, was excruciatingly painful. Anyway, I spent 3 days in the hospital waiting for an orthopedic surgeon to operate as the Wednesda4Ly 20" snow dump threw him behind schedule. The Delaudin (sp) drip helped with the pain, but having quit analogs only 3 weeks earlier, I was dying for a ... VAPE! That's right, despite one of the most painful and stressful times in my life, I had no desire whatsoever for a smoke but really wanted a vape - and a 0 Nicotine one at that! So my wife dutifully brought in my little V4L kit and I vaped away vanilla flavored juice in my bed. I did so discreetly which was so easy as most of the time you are alone and it is pretty easy to tell when someone is entering when you request that you door be left half open.

So I vaped my little heart out before and after surgery and am now at home refilling cartos, recharging batteries, and beginning to let my knee mend. I thank God that I switched to vaping when I did because if I had to go through analog withdraw during this horrific time in my life, I think that I would have gone nuts.

Take care all

excellent to hear that you got to vape before and after surgery! Now if only your nurse could safely vape in the break room, on her break. (a problem my mom recently had to fight & lost).

Not to mention, vaping instead of smoking will help you heal better, faster and without the complications of smoking's vasoconstriction.

I'm sorry about your accident. I'm just glad you weren't hurt worse. Just remember to vape, turn, cough, and deep breathe often :)
