Where besides FT are you guys getting yours? I can’t wait and hope they ship before I move in a month. Was trying to wait for LD sales but...if I can find a good deal now, I’d jump on it. I need a couple of them. May put a WTT up and see if I can get them faster.

I got mine locally, that's why it only took two days for shipping. I like to support my local vape shops.

Just comparing my Vapefly Galaxies rdta to my Berserker rda. There's definately a bit more flavour from the Vapefly. I'm impressed with it. I like it. I might get a couple more later in the future.

Ordered one. This will be my 1st tank!

I had also considered the Berserker Mini, SXK Prime and SXK Doggystyle. I don't like that the Galaxies is plated but the Berserker and Doggystle are also plated. I've heard that the SXK Prime is bare steel so I may pick up a Prime as well. But I wanted something soon and that narrowed things down to the Galaxies and Berserker since they are both available from US sellers. Although the feedback on the Berserker seems generally very positive, I've read a few complaints about flooding, messy bottom filling, and leaks through the air holes. Seems like none of those complaints would apply to the Galaxies because of the (Genesis style?) design and fill port.

I also bought a Pico 75 and some 28 gauge 316L.

Yeah I love the Beserker Mini, but it does flood. Bottom fill is the way to go, but it still sometimes surprises you.
Mine doesn't like to leave home. Every damn time I took it for a outing, it thanked me with a mouth full of liquid. Needless to say, its in time out now...:D

@smoked25years i have 6 doggies, honestly, you can’t go wrong giving it a try for $10.

I bought a berserker mini and gave it away, can’t even touch the doggy. I have a berserker rda as well, have only used it a few times, flavor is great, but airflow sucks imo.

The galaxies rdta is on the way, we shall see how it compares to the others.

You can get a doggy faster on eBay, but you’ll pay almost double (@$18) from a US seller.

Hah.

Actually, believe it or not, considering ordering 1 or 2 more. Still adamant that they won't replace my doggies as the dogs are so easy to work with and maintain, but I'm enjoying the experience from this RDTA immensely. A little shocked about that, actually.

I don't order multiples of any tank unless it's something special to me...And, so far, the Doggy Style is the only one which received that honour. ;)

A concern that I have about the Doggy is that it may be too loose of a draw for me. Some of the comments in the Doggy topic suggest it is loose.

I got the SXK Doggy because it was described as a true, tight, MTL vape.

This thing is NOT tight, unless you close the air hole almost all the way. I expected varying degrees of tight to super tight draw. What I got was varying degrees of open/loose to the last small couple of degrees of tight/closed.

I kinda think some of that depends on which clone you get. I run my doggy style wide open and to me, that airhole is far from huge. I'm actually impressed at the amount of wattage it can handle (I have never had a dry hit with my doggy not one time) and honestly, it's far less airy than like, my Siren V2 or whatnot. Which I also like to run wide open. Apparently, that is what I like to do with my RTAs.

I know I'm leaving out the important part, which clone. I can only say at the moment (I wasn't willing to get up but then I remembered my fasttech wizardry and it's the SKX one. And you can totally close it down from where I'm at with it.

Of course, "airflow" is just one of those subjective terms, so I don't know if I'd put too much stock in my experience.

@smoked25years the doggy can actually get TIGHTER than either the berserker mini or the berserker rda.

To me, the doggy really shines when the airflow hole is 99% closed. It’s super tight, yet super smooth. Since it’s one airflow hole with an adjustable ring, it’s quite easy to tweak to your liking.

I haven’t experienced a tank tighter than the doggy alllllllmost closed off completely.
See the photo, that’s about how far I close it down.

Not a big doggy fan myself. The Hastur MTL mini retired it very quickly.
What irretates me mostly about the doggy is I have to grip the AFC with a plier to unscrew the glass top. The full glass don't appeal to me either...looks cheap....airflow isn't to bad, but the Hastur is way better in looks, quality and MTL performance.

My experiences with the Doggy are the opposite of Fredman. I don't need a tool for any of mine, like the looks just fine, and so on.

Just goes to show...there's no perfect tank that suits everyone. There are some very popular tanks that I just can't stand. ;)

Anyway...glad you got some options to explore. I think that chances are good that you'll like what you have coming. :)
