My galaxies will be here tonight, got delayed a few days, was supposed to be Thursday.

Wife is going to a concert, so I will play with it after I put the kids to bed.

I’m thinking of just using the same build I put in all my doggies, but have read a 2.5mm ID may be better in this than a 2mm.

Any thoughts before I tinker tonight?

I would put in one of my standard builds. Either a 7 spaced rounds builds of 0.3 mm ss316l wire with an id of 2.5mm, around 0.8 ohm. Or a 6 rounds build with vandyvape superfine mtl fused clapton ss316l, same id, around 0.6 ohm.
But I have no experiences with this rdta, so...:(

I have a 2.5mm in mine (my standard), works just fine. My concern with a 2mm would be cotton: would there be enough to adequately fill the wick holes. That said, no harm in trying if that's what you prefer. ;)

First impressions of this tank are quite positive!

I like the looks of it, and building/wicking was easy enough. I went with the 2.5mm ID, 28g SS, 7 wraps, slightly spaced.

I opened the side airflow screws one turn, and vaped on the smallest single airflow hole.

The vape is really smooth, really smooth. WAY better than the berserker RDA, and on par, or better than the doggy.

Flavor is up there with my first juice test, mas o menos, about the same as the doggy.

So far, so good on the hcigar vt inbox v3. I’ll see how it does on juice consumption, etc. but so far, so good. I’m really excited.

7) Filling: Easy. The port works well. However, do it slowly...the hole for the air to escape is tiny, so air can build up quickly and juice WILL flood the deck and you'll get some gurgling. Side note on capacity here....it's impossible to completely fill due to a little air getting trapped. So, the capacity is more like 1.5ml, but it's hit or miss.

Just wanted to say that the above doesn't seem to be an issue any longer. I stopped having a problem after a couple refills, for whatever reason. What I do is tip the tank while filling so the air bubble is under the escape hole while filling. Seems to work as I can fill right to the top without problems.

Yeah, that is my "plan" but sadly I cannot justify buying anything without selling something first .LOL. I also would REALLY like to purchase more batteries. Etc.

Hafta see what happens. But, it's kind of on my list. Especially since my squonker win arrives Monday and all I will be able to do is stare at it sadly, thinking "I wish I had the right battery and also a BF atomizer for that." Oh well, I have the feeling it is going to be really PRETTY and I won't mind staring at it sadly for a bit. LOL.

I’m about half way through a squonk bottle of a really tasty juice in this rdta. While the flavor is good, it’s not quite as deep as when I use the same juice on the doggy.

It’s been awesome not having to refill or any of that. Also, the coil seems to be staying cleaner for longer, another plus. I don’t think it guzzles juice if you squonk with it. I feel like the mini tank portion is not even close to 2ml. It helps with over squonkers like myself.

Great tank, and I want to play with the airflow on the side more to see if I can improve the flavor a bit.

For sure, not saying the flavor is bad, it’s just different results than I’m used too. Will update with anything new!

Got the Galaxies and 316L in the mail yesterday. I was very pleased with the quality. I was surprised that it looked clean enough to use right out of the box. It looked like the glamour shots that are shown in advertising. Not a trace of machine oil but I did give it a quick cleaning anyway. It was extremely easy to build on. I had a build in it and was vaping after only a few minutes. There are even cut outs that serve as guides for placement of the coil. This is my very first build so I don't have much of a reference for comparison.

Just checking back in. This is my 1st rebuildable so I was expecting some problems and trouble shooting but I had none at all. Love the design. No leaks. Super easy to refill. I would like the clear drip tip to be a little longer.

Nice and compact on a Pico 75 but I haven't gotten used to the weight of a 18650 battery mod. I'm accustomed to pod mods that weigh practically nothing and disappear in a pocket.

This deck does not like small contact coils. PITA. Might need to give in and start doing spaced coils for this....
LoL was thinking of you when they talked about the small deck on the new Cthulhu 1928 MTL RDA....
I'm curious why you don't like spaced coils?

Lol

Nothing against spaced, really... Just a little more fussing (which I try to avoid) for zero difference in the vape... At least in my experience. :)

I'm really enjoying this little gem[emoji3]

I'm a restricted lung vaper, 25 - 35w zone. Open up the side airflow screws 4 full turns, install my standard 2.5mm ID twisted 26 kanthal build, and life is good at 0.4 ohms. With the compact chamber, and nice dome, the flavor really comes through. My coil is about as large as I'd want to install in it, but for my use it's super.

Excellent machining, easy build, great flavor, no leaking - I likes it [emoji2]

well my first impresions .......

-This is a piece of cake to build and wick.
-The machining is amazing.
-The filling method work great but isnt mess free if you over fill mess time.
-The flavor is very very good on par with the berserker not better IMO.
-The throat hit is insane i think is too much for but ill keep playing with it ( could be my juice im vaping it at 12 mg of nic salt ).
-The tank is much pretty when you see it closely and looks grat on a lot of modse ven on tubes.
-No leak and no gurgle till now.
-My only con in this few hours is the wicking holes they are a lil tiny but not a big deal just a bit of more trimming ...i have the cotton stocking the holes and still wick perfect ( te tiny hole in the deck let the air flow)
