Funny but sorta true for me, the mailman and I now have an understanding. Never ever leave a note, just bring it back the next day. I'll be waiting, watching for any activity around my mail box. With FT purchases you don't know, a week or a month.

Doesn't USPS have an electronic signing feature now where you can authorize them to leave it based on your electronic signature signup? You fill out the form and they leave it without a signature.
I have left a notepad slip in the box with my signature and a note to use it for authorization to leave the package, and they did.

When I had a package coming recently I talked to my mail carrier the day before and warned her that I would be stalking her the next day!!

My order from bullhead vapers was 2 days late(usps fault slow sorting on priority package). And at my apartment complex they take all boxes to big to fit to the office after knocking on your door. Well since it came on a Saturday the office closed at 5. Guess who got home at 5:15 that day..
Yep, same here without the actual delivery attempt.

When I sent my Provari back for a service repair and tuneup just before the extended warranty played out I had to sign for the package when it returned. The mail lady drove down our 200 foot driveway and rang the doorbell. I'm fortunate.

The only time I seem to work on my front garden is when I've got an international package I'll have to sign for coming (Yaeliq's will have me out there later this week....nom some kosher strawberry cream goodness!) Our local carrier seems to feel that pulling up to the mailbox and honking her horn is an acceptable substitute for stepping up to the door with a package and ringing the bell, so I've had to change it up from hanging out at home inside all day.
Stalking the mailman right now .. he is here, but I usually wait until he drives off before I go out to box. I don't want to be judged for the crazed look of obsessive anticipation in my eyes. 
Every time I hear my dogs alert me that my vapemail is here I rush outside in such a craze, the maillady must think I'm psychotic. She's looked back before in such an alarmed manner, its great.
