Just thought I'd share my airplane story. Hope you enjoy!

I was flying from Tampa Florida to Washington/Dulles airport, round trip. The trip up was fun, I just stealth vaped all the way, and no one was the wiser. It was a sparsely populated flight, and I got a seat in the back, so I had the whole row to myself.

Flying back was the same, just as empty. As we were waiting to depart, I got a bit absent minded, and let a bit of vapor slip out JUST as a flight attendant was walking by, and she stopped in her tracks! "What did I just see come out of your mouth???" Definitely in her STERNEST tone. I smiled slightly and said "Water vapor." She said "We don't allow those on the plane. You'll have to put that away!" This chick could have done GREAT as a school principal! LOL So I said I would...and then DIDN'T. I stealth vaped more carefully, and wasn't caught! Yay me! LOL

Anarchy!

do you really think it's a funny story?

I do!

You were VERY LUCKY! Vapor interferes with the on-board navigation systems. You could have brought down the flight!

That's not even counting the pre-flight adult beverages imbibed by da crew members!

I don't agree with that. Vaping is not invasive and STINKY and harmful, like smoking. I vape everywhere. Grocery store, car, doctor's office...

Some juices are VERY stinky! Don't think I'd like to smell mocha nut vanilla bean coffee swirl delight if I was sick at the doctor's office. Even my favorite Boba's sometimes gets complaints

Although I don't want to over react, I'm a travel agent,,,,,,,and directly doing something against FAA rules AND after being asked NOT to could get you in serious trouble,,,,,I've seen people tossed off flights after making an unscheduled landing,,,,,,I'm not sure it's worth THOUSANDS of dollars to me to try to get home from the middle of the country somewhere (Because THEY aren't going to provide a flight back for you!) to have a vape or two,,,,,,,

There are just some places we can't vape,,,,,,,,

change the laws if you can, sure,,,,,,,,we should all try and keep vaping as available as possible,,,,,,,it saves lives. But don't break the laws that exist just to have a couple puffs,,,,,,,,,,,but that's my opinion.

I agree with you but its not illegal to use a ecig while flying on "CERTAIN" airplanes.

One example is using a device on a aircraft that carries less then 19 PAX. Also private ops that don't fall under the part 135 rule of the FAR/AIM might also apply.
