Does anyone know the effects of vaping on blood sugar? I know that VG is converted by the body to sugar (don't know about PG). Some people have reported massive weight gain - probably attributable to quitting analogs - but I wonder if it could be exacerbated by e-liquid, especially for people with blood-sugar issues vaping straight VG.

I'm a little carbohydrate-crazy myself, so I try to eat foods on the lower end of the glycemic index (except on Saturdays). I haven't noticed any increase in appetite with vaping, but nicotine may be mitigating that.

Just curious - if anyone has any input, it would be appreciated.

I don't know about my blood sugar level, but since I switched to vaping, I seem to eat less. To control the urge for analogs, I vape a lot (at least twice as much as analogs), so I cut the nic level in half to avoid OD. I'm going around in circles. :) I believe nic suppresses the appetite. I don't eat as often and don't want to. But then, I find PG irritating, so it's at least 50% VG for me. It turns out I like that VG sweetness and know that's not helping my blood sugar.
