My horses hated me smoking around them and would actually walk away from their food (doesn't ever happen for any other reason!!) when I was smoking, but now that I vape they have no problem at all. The cats and dogs, calves and sheep, even the chickens dont mind. I think that they can smell it but I just figure that it is not offensive to them. Lucky I guess cause it was awful having them all trying to get away from me all the time.

One of my dogs will try to eat the vapor. Only certain flavors tho LOL. Then he'll get all mad when I quit vaping and paw at my pv on my lanyard LOL. The rest of my animals really don't care lol.

This is a funny thread.

My cockatiel's cage is right next to my recliner. The cage is quite large. When I would smoke, she
would go as far back in the cage as she could get to get away from it. Now, when I vape, she sits
on my shoulder. That seems to be where she likes to poop. Ticks me off cuz I don't poop on her
shoulder.

I had to come back and make sure I wrote she 'sits' on my shoulder.

Its the PG and/or VG it is an irritant and the nic. They use one or both of PG/Vg in fog machines etc and it always made my eyes tear up. Glycerin is what the put in the eyes of actors to make them cry.
My cat does not go away as she did with my cigars but she blinks her eyes when I vape and gets a funny look.

My dogs hate my vaping. When I smoked, as soon as I grabbed my pack they knew it was time to go outside since I never smoked in the house. Now, when I grab my PV and start vaping they have the same reaction but I vape WAY more often than I smoked so they don't get to go outside every time I vape. They are pretty upset about that. Guess they figure when they see "smoke" it is time to for some fun outside. In the past week or so they have realized that not every vape break equates to going out for fun with the ball.

My dogs don't pay any attention to it at all. Although I have to be extra, EXTRA careful with one of my foster pugs because he's waaayyyyy too interested in the bottles of liquid. He was picked up as a stray and it's easy to tell he had to scrounge for himself for a while. He's insane about anything that is food-like.

PG is toxic to cats. Keep it away from them unless you dont like them.

Our cat is quite terrified of everything different. If you move a piece of furniture she'll let you know that it's out of place. If there's a loud noise she won't be seen for hours.

The first time she noticed me taking a draw from an 808 auto, her eyes gaped and she ran - bolted might be a better description. Much later I realized that she'd never seen me smoke, so the idea that I would put something in my mouth that would not only glow brightly, but also spew out strange clouds of fog, was too much to fathom - obviously I was possessed.

Our dogs tend to ignore it, they neither show any attraction nor repulsion. The elder of the two will sit right next to me while I vape, the younger at my feet or in my lap.

Dog doesn't care. 1 cat doesn't care, 1 cat likes to chase the vapor and 1 cat hates it, she moves anytime the vapor gets near her.
