Am I the only one that gets asked about that "fancy crackpipe" I'm using? It is especially bad when I've explained it 3 or 4 times to different people on the same break. I went through the whole thing with the juice and nic levels to a guy who was wanting to get started the other day when one of the cleaning girls said "if you can quit with that it must just be all in your head." I have had one of my buds asking about it for a few months but he has actually done the research he is just wants to get the cash to start out full fledged with a ProVari.

I faced some similar reaction at break time up here in Minnesota.

Just smile and keep on vaping.

I play old time banjo so if I go down south to any festivals this summer I probably will be vaping around hillbillies (in a good sense - some amazing old fiddlers and dancers down there). I wonder how well vaping will go with moonshine - it's homemade not always smooth.

I'm in Lower Alabama..and we have plenty of rednecks..I would just say something like "oh? how would you know what a crack pipe looks like?"

I lived in Lower Alabama for 18 years...Panama City, Fl.

I gotta say, though, I really thought I'd get through my entire life on the internet without seeing a thread titled "Vaping around Hillbillies"

Damn, A ProVari for a first starter PV! Don't leave alot of room for buyin up in the future. Took me 9 months and all kinds of clutter to get there. Hope the fella finds that he likes vaping.

I love the "hick-ish" comments I get from the eGo I sport here in KY...I could care less, especially when the comments are made through chattering teeth while I sit snug and warm (or is that 'smug and warm'), inside the bar while they sling comments through the window...lol.

So, I was avoiding bringing my box mod to my grandmother's attention. She brought up how her friend quit smoking with an "E Cig". I showed her mine and she was really happy for me! I thought for sure she would hate the idea. If my grandma can embrace the technology, anyone can.

I live in a hick town as well.
I have as well received the "crack pipe" and "one hitter" comments.
I have also heard the "Oh, so that's the next way to get the drugs' ...bla bla...'next thing you know it'll be hash oil in them"
"you know, I just don't know about those, I think cigarettes are safer"
Keep up the vaping and make sure you ask others around you if they mind if you vape!

I don't live in a hick town. However, at work all the staff refer to it as my crack pipe. My reply is always the same. I just tell them they are jealous and ignore them.
