I'm a chain vapor. I was a pack and a half a day smoker previously but now I Vape constantly, even in bed too! :vapor:

I don't set limits! When I first started I started out at 18mg nic, but dropped to 12 cause I was vaping so much, then quickly dropped to 6mg just so I could Vape all the time. I see no reason to limit myself. I've already cut my nicotine intake down to 6mg. I enjoy vaping and I'm not going to slow down! I love all the flavors and shiny toys. I even make my own juice now and that's even more fun!

You will likely vape more than you smoked because vaping provides considerably less nicotine than smoking does. One study concluded that you get less nicotine in an hour of vaping 18 mg than you would if smoking a cigarette in 5 minutes.

I don't set any limits for myself, in fact I upped my nic levels in order not to vape continuously (well, I was chain vaping all the time), and because I function better with nicotine than without it. I reckon I am getting less nicotine vaping 1-2 mL of 24 mg of eLiquid a day, than the pack and a half of cigarettes I was smoking every day, 2 months ago!

Spot on, Elizabeth. Same story here. Down to 6mg, chain vape, 0mg evenings. I worry that I can't put it down but when I'm out and about I don't really think about it. Not like when I was smoking and always felt the need to go have a smoke. I can go grocery shopping and not miss my vape. But the second I get in the car it's back in my hand.

Thank you all for your help! One thing is, I wear my e-cig on a landyard around my neck so I don't loose it. Very convienent.:p

The other part is that I feel freed up in a way. I can do this where and when I want in my house. I only smoked in my kitchen before with the window open. Lost a ton of heat that way and froze my a** off too. No more hiding behind trash dumpsters in the cold, snow and rain.:D

I have no idea how much I'm vaping as I switch tanks/flavors a few times a day. Also, I don't measure my juice out.:p

I going to keep going until my body tells me to slow down. Hopefully, my brain will get there first!

I think I'm similar to Bramble. I vape 2.4% at the moment, and I can feel the grumpiness of nicotine deficiency. I don't set vaping limits, but I find myself putting the PV down after a few minutes use. I'm vaping about 3-4 ml a day I'd say.

Yeah... normally the first thing I do when I wake up is grab my PV. Now that I've gone to higher nic, I don't do that. After a couple of weeks on 10/1.0% I was getting a lot of withdrawal - mostly the mental fog and mood issues, I really can't have that. If I'm not sharp getting my work done, I just don't get paid LOL

Those were the days! :)

You will know when you've had enough. Especially with a juice very "rich" in flavor. I'm vaping up some of my early samples and a few of them just make me put vaping away early for the night.

It's also very easy to indulge yourself with vaping. Like you said, you can do it all over the house.

I am vaping 36mg just so I don't chain vape. I probably only go through 1ml of juice per day. I tried dropping my Nic level down and I was constantly vaping then.

I'm vaping 36mg and chain vape like a mad man. And same thing here, anything lower and I am constantly vaping. Um.. wait a minute I just said that I'm constantly vaping. I vape and I vape and then... I vape some more. Close to 5ml a day wooohooo. Love me some vape, yes sirree I sure do. Okay, I know 5ml really aint a whole lot compared to some, but at 36mg it's a fair amount imo.:headbang: I love chain vaping.

Ah, those were the days! It's absurd the things we put up with to justify a habit that was killing us.

I'm vaping more frequently than I smoked, but as others have pointed out, there's not really a vape-cigarette ratio.

I'm fortunate to be happily retired.:) And everyone knows that when you retire, you have more time and less money. So now that I have all that time, I can vape as much as I want. And it really is cheaper in the long run for me than the cigarettes I was burning up every day and night!

I've watched my vaping budget pretty carefully since I started this, and after a couple of months, I really have about broken even on money saved not smoking, even counting my start up gear, juice and some modest upgrades. For example, I recently got an MVP 2 for the price of a carton of cigarettes that would not have lasted me even a whole week. I feel sure my MVP will do better than that.
