I was getting bad acne. I switched to a higher PG and the acne seems to be calming down. However the PG is hurting my chest a bit. Also I switched my nic levels at the same time. I also use a different clearomizer too. So now I am trying to figure out if it was the higher nic level, the VG or the old clearomizer that was making my face break out like mad. I ran out of my 6mg of juice last week and had to use my 12 mg juice for a day and my face broke out again. So I am close to figuring this acne stuff out but it will still take a bit.
It could just be all those toxins leaving our bodies. It is so frustrating.

Ok. Ever since my last post, I thought my breakup could be slowly clearing up as it slowed down to breaking out 1 acne every couple of days.

However, just over the weekend, it happened again!! I woke up this monday with freshly tiny acne all across my cheeks and mouth!!

All the while, the juice/nicotine/pg I used was the same bottle.

Sigh. This is getting extremely depressing.

Since you say this happened while you were vaping and smoking, I will say it is not quit zits.
I would experiment with trying just PG liquids and just VG liquids. Give each enough time to be able to tell a difference. Do not change more than one thing at a time so you are able to tell what is helping (or not).

Also, do you notice you touch your face a lot? Are you possible getting eliquid on your hands and touching your face?

I have a strong feeling that my breakouts are not quit zits too.

I always try to wash my hands whenever I can after handling with the juices.

I think my breakout is caused by the vapor that got caught on my face. Afterall vapors are still very tiny droplets of liquid.

Sigh. Very discouraging.

I had a rather obnoxious rash develope on my back about 3-4 weeks after starting the vape. I switched to 100VG thinking PG may have been an issue. within a few days the rash went away and have been happily vaping 100VG since and no further outbreaks... I also have read that many people have issues with PG predominate juices causing problems.... just maybe.....

Well dont give up. Try just vg liquids for a while and see is that helps. If not, then try pure pg liquids.
If that doesnt help, try unflavored liquids.

Well, unfortunately electronic cigarettes are illegal in my country and therefore I don't have the luxury to get whatever juice i want.

I'm thinking of changing to another clearomizer. Do u think it might help?

a new clero wont make a differance. I believe more than likley its a Reaction to the PG. you are not alone just a quick wiki search of PG shows that many people oare allergic to it.
BUT there is pleanty of vendors you can order juice from that will do 100% VG ive even seen some that lets u choose ur PGtoVG%b Eg. 60/40 10/90 ect. if u cant find one u can always email the company and im sure theyd be happy to mix u up some.

I quit 3 years ago and still have this problem if I'm not careful. PG sensitivity? Not sure. I've noticed my problem has more to do with dehydration. Keeping hydrated and using a very good face oil at night has kept my skin clear and happy for several months now. And I agree, it IS depressing, especially when you are not used to skin problems.

I have quit smoking cold turkey before for 7 1/2 months once before and the withdrawals seemed to be more intense with the ecig. Which i believe is a good thing. The tar that i coughed up using the ecig was far more than when i quit cold turkey. I also got quit zits when i quit for that 7 1/2 months but not near as bad as i have with the ecig. I am finding that the ecig is getting the toxins out of my body a lot more and quicker than quitting cold turkey. It has been 3 months and they are just now calming down. Some clean & clear and a change in my diet seems to be working.

give it a break until it clears up and try some 100% all vg juice after that. i had pg sensitivities that gave me similar rash, like razor bumps. lowering my pg made all the difference. id try all vg and work any pg in if you feel its nessesary after.

I have switched to higher PG and i am not sure if that too has something to do with my acne clearing. I think it depends on the person as if it is the PG or VG that may be causing it.

Vaping dehydrates a lot. Make sure you adjust your skin care regime. Over washing and using harsh face wash will cause spots, as your skin will make up for it by producing extra oil.
See if you find a soap maker in your area and buy some lavender soap. Handmade soap, not something like dial or dove! Switch to aftershave balm, rather than alcohol based stuff.
I find my skin gets very dry now, which can cause the odd outbreak.
