You guys keep missing the fact that he hasn't quit smoking. So these cant be quit zits.
It has to be related to something else.....

I've quitted smoking! Haha. I've not touched a single stick of analog for 2 months now.

But this breakout issue seriously makes me want to give up vaping and go back to smoking.

vaping dehydrates a lot. Make sure you adjust your skin care regime. Over washing and using harsh face wash will cause spots, as your skin will make up for it by producing extra oil.
See if you find a soap maker in your area and buy some lavender soap. Handmade soap, not something like dial or dove! Switch to aftershave balm, rather than alcohol based stuff.
I find my skin gets very dry now, which can cause the odd outbreak.

Oh... I drink plenty of water everyday and take care of my skin care routine as I'm vain. I do facial masks frequently and also apply on skin care products every night.

That's why this breakout issue is making me feel very depressed...

you may be having a reaction to certain juices or the mix..

not everyone is the same and we all had to find our niche to make it enjoyable for us.
Some people can't use VG at all and some can't use PG..some can have a little and some can use whatever they want..
Some can't use certain flavors..

We're there any foods that you could not eat, or that may have made you break out or itch?

i would try experimenting..try some different mixes to see what may be causing it..it could be just too much PG or VG or food flavoring or just your body cleaning..

I'm on my 11th day without stinkies. I have to say I'm seeing my skin is more softer, fine lines around eyes are vanishing  Not sure if it's vape related or that I'm drinking more water to stay hydrated...

Oh and I'm 42 and yes I still get the occasional break out.

Thanks for all replies.

I really do hope is just quit zits. But due to my past experience, and also reading up on some others experience, I have a strong feeling that my break-outs are caused by vaping.

It's making my complexion very bad and this is making me feeling really depress. Sigh...

give it a break until it clears up and try some 100% all vg juice after that. i had pg sensitivities that gave me similar rash, like razor bumps. lowering my pg made all the difference. id try all vg and work any pg in if you feel its nessesary after.

+1 Sound advice. I know a person who is PG sensitive gets rashes and general itchiness all over. After some testing His Doctor told him he had the sensitivity to PG he switched to VG only juice and is now happy with vaping. Just as an FYI When I tried the Patch I also broke out in rashes at the patch sites, everyone I know who used them had the same issue some has increased heart rate as well.

Take some time to diagnose your issues you may find an easy solution other then Smoking. Talk to your Doctor If your giving up smoking he will be more then happy to help troubleshoot your problem

Cut back on the skin care products. Honestly, when it comes to skin care, less is more!
But it might be hormonal, even if you are a guy. Witch hazel and tea tree helps to treat the current outbreak, otherwise it is a waiting game until your body has got used to not smoking and settles down. Painful. I know. My skin got bad initially but is much better now, although no longer oily. That's after 4 months of not smoking. I had oily skin all my life. Now it's just "normal".

Tea tree oil and sulfur are especially like magic for getting rid of zits. Clay masks help as well. If you must have chemical help, it's all in Stridex wipes. Salicylic acid is awesome for clearing and preventing break outs, but where most companies and consumers go wrong is putting it in cleansers. It has to be allowed to stay on your skin to actually work. No matter what you do, make sure you're moisturizing after cleansing/using the wipes too. Dry skin will just aggravate acne.

I don't know about others but my skin changed after quitting, so I had to change my skin care regimen.

You may also want to try switching to Dove or the orange Neutragena soap at least temporarily if your cleanser contains sodium laurel sulfate.

Thanks for all your replies. All of you have really been very encouraging.

I'm 99% sure my breakouts are caused by vaping. I've been vaping for about 6 weeks now.

I'm hoping it is a initially reaction and will be cleared up soon. But it doesn't seems to be the case as I'm getting more acnes now.

Currently the juice I'm using is a Mint flavour with 40 PG / 60 VG.

I've ordered a 100% VG juice and need to probably wait a couple of weeks more before it arrives... sigh.

Alright! My 100% VG juice finally arrived! I'll be switching to it.

This is probably my last chance of solving this breakout issue. It's really causing me to be on the very verge of depression...

I will give a few weeks to see how it goes. If this 100% VG still doesn't solve my breakout issue, I will most probably quit vaping.....

Wish me good luck.

Last week I got my first two pimples in over 30 years! Small price to pay to be off the smokes IMO.

Well, for me I consider a huge price to pay. I'm vain and I take care of my skin. So therefore this breakout is making me really depressed.

Just tried out 100% VG. Thick... and more vapor... but the flavour is disappointing. It's almost tasteless.....

I certainly wasn't trying to make light of your distress. A lot of us take care of our skin and it has nothing to do with vanity but since you describe yourself as vain you may want to consider premature aging from smoking. Pimples are a few days, premature aging is forever unless you go under the knife, even then it's iffy. Hope you find a solution soon. Good luck.

No worries...

I do understand that smoking cigarettes cause premature aging. And one of the main reasons of my skin care routine is to fight premature aging. But now it is breakout of acnes...

Sigh. It's destroying my face, and making feel very embarrassed. The acnes grew mainly around my lips and chin area making me looks 'dirty'. Like someone who ate wrong food or someone who doesn't wipe his mouth after eating... which is not the case...
