So my wife and I are absolutely loving our new Protank Mini 3's. What a huge upgrade from our old EVOD tanks! No leaks, no gurgles, great taste, and awesome vapor. We also just upgraded our batteries from Ego Twist 650's to Vision Spinner 1300's. I am stunned by how much of a difference this has made.

Maybe it's just because I am really enjoying the new toys, and the vaping experience upgrade, but I find myself refilling my tank at least once, and sometimes twice, a day. Being a dual coil design, I realize that the Protank Mini 3 is going to use more juice. Right now, my ADV is the Spurburry from Mt Baker Vapor, at 6 mg of nic, and max VG. The vapor, the taste, well, it's all too good! I find myself hitting on it a lot throughout the day.

I haven't suffered any nic overdose effects, but I would still like to get opinions. Am I hitting it too much? What are your experiences? I am only one year into my vaping odyssey, so I still have much to learn. Should I dial it back? Or am further from overdoing it than I realize? Thanks!

And BTW, I LOVE this forum! :vapor:

From what I've seen, some folks go through more than 5ml a day, others less than 2. I think anything in that range is totally reasonable, and if more, why not - if it's keeping the analogue cigs at bay, go for it.

I'm certainly doing about 3ml a day, maybe more sometimes, and at 18-24mg nic.

I like your review of the protank mini 3 though. Makes me wonder if I should go get one or three. Shiny.

Cool! Yeah, the capacity of the Protank Mini 3 is around 1.5ml, so I reckon I'm burning around 3ml a day. And Fattlestar, I really can't say enough about this tank. Maybe it's because I'm a relative greenie when it comes to vaping, and bear in mind that this is an upgrade from an EVOD tank. But the difference has been startling to say the least. Now, it is entirely possible (and likely) that I will have another such epiphany when I take the next step to something else like a major mod. But for now, I am extremely happy with my current setup.

Well, I normally vape on a nautilus mini (which is excellent, those BVC coils are awesome) but I've been looking for smaller tanks that are still high quality but low priced. Need some options for taste-testing without tossing aside another coil every day when switching 101 flavors. The Aspire k1 is looking awesome too (same price range and same capacity as that protank mini 3). I'm also considering grabbing a vision spinner for a backup to my iStick/MVP2. Triplicate for safety measures, yeah, not because shiny.

In any case, it's great that you found some new gear to satisfy the vape!

And what's even cooler is that I found a seller on eBay who sells the Protank Mini 3's for around $8, whereas, they normally run about twice that in other stores. I also found another seller who had the Vision 1300 Spinners for about $13 each. So my new setup cost me $21. I really can't complain. :toast:

Was really happy with my PT3 until it met its demise on a 40 foot fall to the steel grating below :(

Now sporting an Aerotank mini. (1.5ml) :) ............A step up IMHO ;)

Anywho,Depending on the stress / boredom of the day....2 tanks to 5 tanks @ 6mg :(
At 4-5 tanks I do sometimes get a headache (at most).....but WAY better than a 2 pack a day analog habit.

I think you're fine until you hit that point....Newbie here too, sortta.

I had a protank 2 and Aerotank but then I discovered....the KFL. I have since retired my Aerotank and use the Protank 2 when in a pinch or the KFL is acting up. I have a eLeaf Lemo on order. Once you vape a KFL tank, protanks seem...blah. The flavor is omg...and the vapor and nic hit is so much better.

I am also able to rewick a KFL and Protank 2 wick under 5 minutes using Koh Gen Do cotton. Microcoils and cotton far surpass stock wicks in flavor and vapor.

Thanks for the info :)
My biggest issue is I have to keep it small for concealment due to "no smoking" at work....to include e-cigs :(
