Andria thanks for the info, i just took the bottom apart and i understand what yr saying. See thanks to you I'm learning! ;)

And thanks for the kind welcome.
Cheers
I definitely would have to recommend the vision spinner 2 with the nautilus, it costed me like $40 for both and thats really cheap for how much vapor it chucks out. And its performs well even compared to my provari which was $150.

Congrats on putting down the stinkies, TFG!
My advice would be to relax and take your time. Enjoy the journey. There's a .... ton of info to absorb.
If you run into trouble, which I think most of us have, you'll find all the help you need on this forum. I think it's the best community on the net.

Definitely is, and thats a good thing because the more friendly that vapers appear to be it will draw more people to vaping. I have switched over like 15 people in since the beginning of summer just vaping it out in public.

Congrats on the decision to try vaping/quit smoking, tfg!! So glad to hear you're already liking (loving!) it! A Vision spinner and a nautilus would be a decent setup for a while. I'd like to advise you to go slow as far as moving "up" to more sophisticated devices. As you've said yourself, you're very new and there is sooooo much to learn. Take your time, read all the informative material on here, ask questions....before you start acquiring stuff! You've already got what it takes to have quit smoking, right?? From now on it's about wanting, not needing!

Very true on all counts. I doubt if any of us realized just what we were getting into, at first, and it's probably a good thing or a lot of us would have run away screaming. :D

That's a good deal above, the $40, however the nautilus is not the best choice for that type of smaller battery; it has dual coils, which you may or may not like, but dual coils use a LOT of power, and will really chew thru battery life. For a small stick-type battery, single coil tanks will preserve battery life a lot better. There are a lot of abbreviations to learn, and the ones that would apply to this case are "BCC" -- bottom-coil clearomizer, or "BDC" - bottom dual coils. I strongly prefer bottom coils over top coils, and single coils over dual, mainly for the battery-life issue, but also because dual coils tend to be very hot, which I don't like, and some ejuices don't taste that great with a lot of heat.

But I've heard good things about that Spinner II; a variable-voltage type of mod will let you customize the vape to your own taste, and that's really just one more thing to learn, probably the most important -- what you like. Just starting out, none of us really know what we'll like, because vaping really is quite different from smoking.

Again thanks Andria. That was alot of helpful info. I had heard some of those terms but was unsure as to what some meant. Good stuff there!! :)
I must mention that I'm one of these people who loved vaping right away from the first pull from my cheap newbie setup. Luke i said i am a fast learner and i work with electronics as I'm a musician and producer so i know i could dive into this, of course with the help of all of you super knowledgeable folks, but I will go slow. I have to remember that while this is all really intriguing, I have something that works well for now, and my main thing is never smoking again. The hobbyist in me will grow in due time. Im also stoked on all the flavors im gonna try!!!
Cheers

Congratulations!! Its great to find out that you can walk away from the stink weeds n not look back. I started vaping 10 months ago have been cigarette free for 8 months. Took me longer to quit but I'm a hard head from way back. I found this forum in Jan it has been very informative. Just started posting. Never heard of the Blissie so had to look it up. I Found it on Alibaba its made in China. It is a BCC (bottom coil clearomizer) that holds 1.9ml of juice, battery 420mah. Look under clearomizers in equipment forum to learn how it works When I started vaping I used a Kanger evod clearomizer (its also a BCC) and an evod battery 650 mah. If you are Getting a harsh or burnt flavor I woud change out my coil. There is a You Tube video on the Blissie you might want to check. Good luck. Vape On

If you're looking for a decent relatively small VV (variable voltage) PV, I'd recommend you at least look into the Joye eGo-C Twist which has a 650mAh battery, and a dual eGo and 510 connector. They're going for less than $25 on sale over at MVS right now. I use mine with an "outdated" Kanger T3 tank, and I get great performance from it, and most certainly for the price I paid for my setup. Eventually you'll do like many of us, and you'll look into some of the more powerful mods (ex. I also have an eVic), but for an interim PV that will serve you well for a long time, and has a relatively small profile, my recommendation stands.

That said, if you delve into the world of VV and/or VW PVs, make sure to google the ecig wattage charts that are available. It will give you the information you need to better target the appropriate voltage (battery) and ohm settings (cartos, tanks, etc.), and the resultant wattage settings which will be useful for your needs eventually.

Also, AndriaD eluded to WTA liquids in her first post herein. As an former smoker, should you find that there is something missing (i.e. you aren't "completely" satisfied) from vaping after a couple of weeks or more, or if you find you're spending far too much time vaping to stay satisfied, research WTA (whole tabacco alkaloids) liquids. WTA is essentially nicotine plus several other active tobacco alkaloids which aren't found in nicotine-only liquids. Many, including me, struggle between vaping, which we know is healthier, and smoking, which satisfies that "something" that vaping doesn't provide. This isn't true for all ex-smoker vapers, but it does affect a significant percentage of us.

Finally, if you find you (also) miss that "real" tobacco taste experience, look into NET (natural extracted tobacco) flavors and liquids. They're derived from real tobacco, and not artificially derived like most which are available, and many report they really do taste more like real tobacco. I'm still researching the best source for DIY NET flavors (vs flavored liquids), so I can't yet tell you if those reports are accurate, but I'm excited, because I really do miss that element of "smoking."

If you get curious about WTA and NETs, try these two ECF threads on for size. They're lengthy, but worthwhile. In the second part, there's a nice little summary of WTA, NET, etc. on the first page if you scroll down past the list of vendors. I can't yet post links (perhaps somebody else can do so), but they're called:

Natural Tobaccos
Natural Tobaccos - Part Deux

Good luck!
