As the title says, a very well written little blog post on vaping from the perspective of a non-smoker. I thought I would share to my friends here in the Nicoticket lounge.

Thanks for sharing! I forwarded the article off to my better half. I've gotten more grief on vaping than I ever did smoking. She thinks (which is actually correct ) that is vape more than I ever smoked. It just tastes so good and I feel so much better though.

My Stingray is in my hand most the day. I'm lucky though, my wife vapes right along with me. Both of us quit smoking many years ago, but with stresses of daily life and job, the urge to pick up again was getting stronger and stronger. Lucky for me, a guy at work was a vaper and he let me try his little Ego with a Protank. I bought one for my wife and I and we haven't craved a cigarette since. Now she vapes on a Sigelei V5 and I have my Infinite Stingray. She still uses her Protank 3, though. She has no desire to wrap her own coils.

I get this all the time too but K is so trilled with me being off smokes he doesn't give me any crap but does slip a comment in here and there...LOL

I wish more non smokers who feel this way would come forward and comment to the FDA. I know that even my father, an AVID non smoker (he HATES smoking- both of his parents died young from smoking related cancers) thinks it is great that I discovered vaping.
I was a thirty plus year old woman hiding the fact that I smoked from my father, and once I found vaping I was finally able to admit to my father that I smoked (he suspected but he never outright asked me). I told him I was able to quit because I found vaping-- he was completely supportive. I was shocked!!
If more non smokers came forward I think it would cause some people who had a negative view of vaping to pause and think about it for a moment......

All my co-workers love that I vape and don't smell like an ashtray at work now. Some don't even care that I stealth vape at my desk. Jameson also loves that I don't smoke anymore too.

I would also like to add that the FDA is always saying that the reason they want to ban vaping is 'for the CHILDREN!!' but I know for a fact that my children are over the moon that I no longer smoke!!
My kids don't see vaping as 'cool' or anything like that (in fact my 12 year old daughter tells me that I look like a dork vaping) I educated my children about vaping and they know that it is to help me quit smoking. I think that because they have been educated about vaping they will not ever be tempted to try it. They have the view that it is something that adults do to stop a horrible habit.
If we keep vaping taboo then that is when kids will want to try because it is forbidden and that gives it the 'cool' factor.

Agreed. When we show our old faces and bodies riddled with the war scars from being old punks, rockers, rude boys it will take on the patina of age like old lady perfumes and motorized shopping cart at the grocery.
