i'm wandering about this too... i seem to get through 3-4ml a day @ 12mg....(1.2%)
that equates to 48mg max a day,,,, yet being a 20-30 a day smoker of .5mg analogs i used to Smoke only 10-15mg...
i'm only on day three... so i'm kind'ove glad for the high strength... as it helps abate the cravings...
i've not suffered any headaches or nausea...
(so does vapourising mean; less is absorbed - compared to analogs...?)
for instance; 1ml @12mg should equal 24 analogs @0.5mg....?
i'm guessing the thousands of chemicals help the nicotine get into your system....
i am going to try a lower dose sometime though.... as while my current 12mg sorts out my craving... there is a cut off point where i have to put it down for a bit,,,
but i need that hand-to mouth and vapour inhalation pretty much the whole time at the moment.
so i may try the 8mg,5mg and 0 mg all in the same flavour so i can assess what works for me.. when i want to chain..
^on that note, i have one flavour with good TH that i think i'll keep as my 'analog replacement' flavour and i'll keep it at higher strength than the rest of my juices - (for when i am craving an analog)
and then i'll have lower strength 'softer dessert-esk' flavours for when i need to satisfy the habit over the craving,
Jx
Don't forget that only 40%-60% of the nicotine in e-liquids is actually absorbed by your body. Honestly, I believe that even the 40% is a high estimate. For example, I used to smoke a shade over 1 1/2 PAD of Marlboro Menthol Ultra Lights. That would've been roughly 15mg per day. I now vape 4-5ml per day of around 15mg. Even at 40%, that would mean that I'm getting between 24mg-30mg of nicotine per day. Almost double what I was getting from analogs!
This doesn't make sense to me as I've (finally) found that what I'm currently vaping is my sweet spot. I started out at 24mg and quickly found that it was too much (headaches, nausea, etc.) and 12mg was too little (hardcore cravings). Though when I mix 12mg and 18mg, it's juuuuust right. Mind you, none of this takes into account individual differentiation. Just pay attention to your body. Regardless of the science, estimates, or opinions, your body is the absolute best determinant of what is right for you.
