Any idea why you went back to smoking instead of vaping?

I sold off all my PVs and didnt have a backup.Thing is, I knew better, Ive heard stories of people quitting analogs and picking one up years later. This time even if I do go completely off vaping Im going to have at backup a home and in my vehicle just in case.

I'm extremely fortunate to be one of those who hasn't picked up a ciggie since I started vaping. I did have a couple of urges at first, but I picked up my PV immediately and the urge was gone. I really didn't think vaping was going to work for me, but I love it and like many others have said, the smell of ciggie smoke nauseates me now and thank goodness it does.

I've sort of given up, although I still have one driving to work because I can't really vape when I'm driving, I get too distracted trying to see what I'm doing.
One more after work when I take the dogs for a walk but I think seeing as I'm doing some exercise, and getting some fresh air it shouldn't be a prob.
I only smoke lights anyway though..

I vape like a freight train when I'm driving! When I was a smoker I used to light them back to back when I drove, too, so it would be imperative for someone like me to have a way to vape while I drive for this to be a successful venture IMO. I don't drip, but even if I did I would make an exception while driving-it is that important.

I don't mean to sound harsh, but please don't tell yourself that analogs are ok if they are only lights. That is SO not the case. Please don't give up. You can do this!

I stopped for a year then started smoking again. I did one here then there even though they tasted like ..... Funny how quickly I went from not smoking and thinking how foul they smelled to smoking a pack or better a day. I keep saying I need to stop what am I thinking but it lasted well over 7 months.
Today I have been smoke free I like over 4 months, Some-days it's a pain others it's a blessing. I am happy I am not smoking still but for me I keep a pack in my car never opened. I have thought of it and know I can at any given time.

It is my choice to vap or smoke and both can be quite a pain in the ....

But with vapping I can breath better I know this for a fact.

I'm with a couple of the other posters. I haven't completely given up smoking but I like the vaping a lot and smoke very little now. I have faith that the vaping is going to be my only nicotine delivery system when I am ready to let go of those last few ciggies:) I was a 2 plus pack a day smoker and now I am a heavy vaper who has a few cigs. I'm happy with my progress.

I have had to find the right nic levels for me to vape. Now I have 24mg in the mornings, 18mg and 24mg in the afternoons and 18mg and 12mg for those nights when I am chain vaping in front of the TV. I'm trying to start with DIY juice since I am spending a small fortune on juices.

I know how you feel! I ordered my set up so I could cut back on smoking. But when I started vaping, I didn't want any cigarettes, LOL! I've tried smoking 2 cigarettes in the 3+ months since I've been vaping and I was never able to take more than a couple of drags each time!

I've been vaping for a little over 3 weeks....stopped smoking immediately when I got my E-cig...but did have a few cigs that weekend. Went onto the next week..decided to have a cigarette, and afterwards, hated the taste and smell. Haven't had a regular cig in over 2 weeks now.

Was wondering if anyone else noticed this...I cannot imagine going back to smoking now...vaping has much better taste, no smell and still gives me the "hit" of the cigarette I was used to, gives me the nicotine, and satisfies the oral fixation habit of smoking.
