Does anyone ever plan to quit vaping?

I too am no longer smoking cigarettes it has been 5 months now. I started out vaping on 24mgs and I am now in between 12-14mgs. I am lowering myself down slowly. I truly enjoy vaping and although I know I can quit the nicotine my problem is the hand motion thing so I most likely will continue to vape even after I am off the nicotine and be at 0mgs.

So I also have future plans to taper the nic level down to zero, and eventually quit vaping as well, however I dont want to get ahead of myself as I am 3 days without smokes and am relatively new to vaping mabey two months in. The point is that I want to live healthier and save my money that I work so hard for (plumbing & heating).

I'm experiencing this as well, and it's made me very curious what is in cigarettes that causes those intense cravings.

Remember when you went all day without a cigarette, and when you finally smoked one, your body would tingle, head turns numb and dizzy? I used to think that was the nicotine, but obviously, it wasn't. Well, I'm sure it played a small part, but I don't get anything near that effect regardless of the nicotine amount when I vape after not having anything for a while.

That was the carbon monoxide. Not a healthy chemical to inhale....
Carbon monoxide is produced by combustion (burning). As PV's do not burn anything, no carbon monoxide is produced.
I had mild cases of carbonmonoxide poisoning several times. That is the "hangover" that you get from (chain-) smoking too much.

I just read a good article about it here:
Pharmacological and Chemical Effects of Cigarette Additives

Wow. I knew the cigarette companies were the enemy, but they're just EVIL.

Thank you for the link. Let me read it through when I have more time.
While some things seem sensible, we have to remember that the WHO is not - repeat: not - concerned with public health. And that not everything that they say is the truth.

I remember reading that the addictive properties of cigarette smoke are not only due to additives (which were added to increase the addictive properties, yes) but also to substances normally found in the smoke of tobacco. Some of these act as MAO inhibitors (like some anti-depressants do) and produce a feeling of well-being. .. sigh.. I got my bookmarks at home. Can provide more info if requested, later.
