You can see me sometimes in Midtown Manhattan with madvapes 2AA mod Box :)
But, you know, you can walk naked in NYC and people wouldn't react...

The friends I converted around here vape outside with me when I see them. I can't speak for them, but I vape in public all the time...I don't even think about it anymore. If someone ever told me no, I suppose I would explain what it was, and if they still said no I wouldn't argue and just go somewhere else next time or not vape. But, that hasn't happened.

Do wish I saw other people (strangers) vaping though. Back when I drank, I had a bartender tell me I was the second person that day to bring one in, but we missed each other :(

I vape everywhere. I never really get a hard time for it. The only time i stealth vape is when i volunteer at my daughters school. Then the kids ask what the watermelon smell is. But at college i vape in class, at the lunchroom i vape like crazy, i did a presentation at my public speaking class and vaped in the presentation. I find it great. I only had 2 confrontations and once I explained it, they were more curious than anything. I love watching people fidget as they want to ask to try it but dont want to share germs. Amazing how when you have a reg cig people have no problems taking a drag but on the ecig it seems so much more invasive.

I was at a Tea Party Rally yesterday. Vaping on one side of the field and a woman came past me and said "e-cog - good for you. I use one and have converted most of my area (work area) to them.
Later vaping on the other side another woman walked past and said "I love the vapor". Then others.
To make a way too long story short - I met 5 vapors in one afternoon - within about 3 hours.
It is growing and I hope the Gov is too busy just now to fuss over it. They lost about $ 300 in taxes from me in the last 2 months. 13 trillion in debt - got to get that sin tax money since everyone knows sins should be taxed. Spit on them.

I'll vape while waiting for the elevator so I can go outside and vape some more. LOL! One of my coworkers saw me doing this, asked me about it, then came outside with me to find out more. His father was a long time smoker and now he's dying of lung cancer. His mother is still smoking about a PAD. He wanted to get her e-cigs but hadn't seen anyone use them until me. I sent him the links to a few highly recommended vendors I got from here. I hope she makes the change!

I'll stealth vape in my office and another coworker will use his PT in the evenings and weekends when almost no one is around.

The gov't is never to busy to get into our personal lives, unfortunately. The whole country could be on fire or be overcome by the bubonic plague and they'd still be passing legislation that interferes in our personal choices.

Nice to see that you attended a TP rally. :) I've been to several, myself.
